I saw that This doctor did not have one four-star Review And the other doctors did and lower. So I made the appointment And met the doctor Into my surprise, he spoke just as good as English as I did. And I am an American from the New York area. He gave me a great price And his schedule was very flexible. The price that he gave me would substantially less than what it would cost in the United States. And in my opinion, the ending result was more quality. On surgery day We went in and dealt with another set of wonderful people. They gave me a pill to settle my nerves And the anesthesiologist put me to sleep. I woke up, asking my wife if the surgery was done. And it had been. The office is full of very nice people And it’s obvious that they work hard to make sure that you stay comfortable the entire time. I have not healed from my surgery, but I See the quality already. I was expecting to look good afterwards, but not like this. He completely removed my love handles, which was the main reason why I came. My entire life I have had bad genetics with my love handles. And now they are gone. I’m so excited to see how The finished product is going to look over the next month or two, but for now we are incredibly happy. I had surgery with Dr. Jose Leon Ortiz on April 7th, 2026 and underwent a rhinoplasty along with liposuction to my arms, thighs, and abdomen using J plasma technology. I can honestly say my experience from consultation through recovery was amazing, and I am extremely satisfied with both my results and the level of care I received. Having had previous surgeries in the Dominican Republic that were scary experiences, I was very nervous about trusting another surgeon. For anyone who feels afraid about traveling to another country, especially the DR for surgery, I completely understand. But Dr. Jose Leon Ortiz completely changed my perspective. From the moment I arrived, the process felt organized, safe, and professional. During my consultation, everything was done in the same building where he operates and has his office. I met with a pulmonologist, a cardiologist, had my labs completed, and underwent all pre-surgical testing in one place. It made the process incredibly easy and eliminated the stress of traveling back and forth to multiple locations. I also didn’t experience the long waits I heard other women discuss while having surgery with different doctors. My experience with Dr. FUE has been excellent and it still is. The treatment is amazing, from his assistant, the young Natalia—she’s lovely—and the staff is great. Dr. Leon removed my implants with their capsule and also did a lift. I give it 10/10, and something I really loved was when the anesthesiologist and her team came to get me; they started with a prayer to God 🥹🙌🏻🩷. I could keep writing, but I won’t finish. From the moment you start scheduling calls, doing consults, Dr. Leon and his team are nothing short of amazing. It truly takes a solid team to make the experience a great one- from the lymphatic massage expert, to the driver who takes you to and from your hotel (Airbnb etc) to your appointments and surgery, the entire process was orchestrated very nicely.
