Specialists of the Wieliczka Salt Mine Health Resort combine peculiarities of salt mine with innovative technologies to treat such diseases:

chronic bronchitis;

acute pneumonia.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is remarkable for the fact that a stable microclimate is maintained here, characterized by bacteriological air purity, steady temperature (about 10-12°С), high relative humidity (about 80%), and high content of sodium chloride solution (24 m /m3), and elements such as manganese, calcium, and magnesium.

In the S Wieliczka Salt Mine Health Resort, a unique method of subterraneotherapy is used. There are several possible options for health improvement and prevention:

21-day subscription, which includes the cost of comfortable living and three meals a day;
the three-hour visit for a sightseeing tour in the Mine;
"days of health" visit. It is held 2-3 times a month.

Nice location, great walk in the tunnels. Prepare for a two-hour walk with frequent stops to take photos. You'll first have to walk down about 400 stairs to level one of the Moine, and later some more to get down to level 3 about 130 metres below the surface. On the way back up you'll be riding a lift, so don't worry!

The salt mine is a must see... This isn't for the faint hearted as has many steps down over 100m underground. Literally spectacular inside, and a great tour guide too, giving all the facts and lovely coloquial information. Worth having a drink or snack at the deepest restaurant on earth. You should visit here if you can!!!

Great place to visit. Tours are offered in a range of languages. Head sets are also provided. There is a restaurant, shop and souvenir shop inside. Easy to get to, we were staying in Krakow and got the 304 bus straight there. There is a large hall with carvings around all sides a must-see. People can also get married there, they have function rooms. We booked tickets before travelling

The salt mine is well worth a visit. It's approximately 18° in the mine so a top might be worth considering. The tour takes approx 1h 30m with a tour guide who was very informative and humorous. There is quite a bit of walking to do starting off with going down 39 flights of stairs but there is an elevator at the end of the tour to go back to surface level. A must do tour.

Stunning experience, starting from the 350+ step decent to the first level, followed by more to the subsequent levels, to the intricate carvings and the architectural marvel that keeps the whole thing standing for all these years. The elevator ride back up to the surface was also very interesting. The guides have a great sense of humour and are very knowledgeable.

Es un sitio indispensable, hay que visitarlo si estás en Cracovia, es algún único meterte a unos 300 metros bajo la tierra en una mina de sal que a día de hoy sigue en funcionamiento. Recomiendo la visita guiada con vuestro idioma, así entenderéis anécdotas, curiosidades y leyendas de la mina.
