Dental implants

Implants substitute entirely a missing tooth. They look and feel like natural teeth and replace teeth in all processes.

The doctors place the implant, which serves as an artificial root. The procedure is provided under local anesthesia and takes about 10 minutes. Then a dentist attaches an abutment to the prosthesis as a connection between the root and the crown. After this, the implant takes root in the gum for 3-4 months. Upon completion, the doctor places the crown matched right for you.

If you need to replace the front tooth not involved in chewing, dentists can instantly put a crown without a second visit.

Zirconium crowns

Crowns or caps allow hiding damaged or destroyed teeth. Dentists place a cap on top of the patient’s tooth or an artificial implant.

Advantages of zirconium crowns:

ability to transmit light and makes them as natural
resistant to corrosion — the color does not change over time, and they don’t leave a metallic flavor in the mouth
suitable for patients of any age
have no allergens and therefore are not rejected by the body.

Porcelain veneers

Veneers are special inlays that hide the aesthetic defects of teeth. They aim to correct the teeth' color and shape. Besides, they make your smile snow-white.

The thickness of porcelain veneers is not more 0.3 mm. The service life of porcelain veneers depends on the quality of oral hygiene and is, on average, 10-20 years.

I was incredibly relieved that the feeling is now completely gone

My main concern was the potential for lingering tooth sensitivity, so I was incredibly relieved that the feeling is now completely gone. The results are noticeable—my teeth are about 4 to 5 shades whiter, and the new color is holding steady. The surgeon and staff were professional and earned their high marks. The whitening is mostly even across all my teeth, which is good, though not perfectly uniform, explaining my 8/10 recommendation. Overall, it was a very straightforward process with a solid outcome.

Smooth seamless process

Maybe more English signs but other than that I still managed to communicate. Excellent coordinatior tho cannot fault them - Bookimed was great

This was my first trip to Istanbul. Coordinator Tatyana contacted me through Bookimed. With great patience and understanding of the problem, taking into account my very specific needs and wishes, the program and clinic were selected for me. It was about the implantation of 3 teeth, and the removal of 2 complex roots. I was very worried about the trip, Tatyana reassured me, said that the clinic provides both a transfer and an interpreter, this is included in the program. They even sent me a photo of where they would meet me. The way from the airport was long (by the standards of the country from which I came), but comfortable, I even knew how to watch a movie on Netflix in a limousine, which I had noticed for a long time. I was greeted at the clinic by the friendly, nice and competent Zülal, the Russian speaking coordinator of the clinic. The problem with a little trouble was quickly resolved, and at my request, the extraction of teeth and implantation were performed under anesthesia, the so-called sedation. I was counting on terrible pain, swelling and bruising (these are not the first implants that I put in my country) ... Imagine my surprise when in the morning there was no pain, no bruising, or even swelling! I was given antibiotics, and rinses, painkillers, which I never needed because there was no pain. I ate soft and liquid food after 2 hours. And now I'm eating a whole meal!
