Uzdrowisko Ustroń is located in the Ustroń resort in the mountain range. The wellness center is located appr. 25 minutes away from Aleksandrowice Airport.

The mild climate, clean mountain air, and natural sources (therapeutic mud, water and salt springs) attract international tourists from the UK, the USA, Germany, Ireland, and other countries.

Uzdrowisko Ustroń strong point

Partnership with American Heart of Poland Hospital Group. The Ustroń team has developed treatment programs together with American colleagues.
Over 70 recovery programs. Patients undergo cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, pulmonary, rehabilitation and restoration after cancer treatment.
Location. The wellness and spa-center is located in an ecologically clean area near the mountains and forest. Fresh air boosts the recovery, and natural sources are applied in medical procedures.

Wellness vacations

People who want to relax, enjoy nature, restore and retreat are offered to have whole body cryotherapy, saline bathing, dry carbonic acid gas bathing, and 68 other spa procedures. Heart rehabilitation

Cardiac programs are developed for people with a high risk of or after heart failure, cardiovascular diseases, and post-surgical patients. Cardiologists conduct tests, including lab and stress tests, ECG, ultrasound.

Rehabilitation programs at Ustron:

Orthopedic rehabilitation

The rehab programs aim to help people after surgeries to return to everyday activities and patients with musculoskeletal disorders.

People after knee/shoulder/hip replacement and spine surgery can undergo rehab as well.

The Uzdrowisko Ustroń orthopedic rehabilitation includes:

daily kinesiotherapy
daily physiotherapeutic procedures (typically, up to 5 per day)

Accommodation

The Równica Health Resort — recommended for patients visiting for cardiac, neurological, pulmonary, and orthopedic rehab. The international patients can stay in single and double rooms, suites.

I agree with the negative reviews. Gierek's style, Balcerowicz's reforms. The conditions are terrible, every piece of furniture is from a different era, and the sanitary inspectorate should close the bathroom. The interior photos posted online are photoshopped. It's the worst spa hospital in Poland, and I've been to a dozen. The National Health Fund (NFZ) should terminate the contracts; it's a disgrace to where people requiring rehabilitation are being sent. Finally, I'll add that the nurses' behavior is beyond criticism. They pack into rooms without mercy. This is a punishable offense, and I think we'll have to report the matter to the prosecutor's office, because this is unacceptable. And the owner's responses are clichéd and off-topic.

I'm very disappointed. Równica is a beautiful place on the website, but it was a shock when I got there. We arrived as a couple. My wife, through the National Health Fund (NFZ), and I, privately. I paid 4,600 PLN + utilities. A total of about 5,200 PLN. The room was about 14 sq m (14 sq ft) plus a bathroom that was cramped for one person. To use the toilet, you had to enter backwards. The stall was 40 cm above the floor. It's basically communist-era, and deep. The higher, renovated floors are better. But all things considered, I'll never go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

A very positive experience. I stayed for a few days on my own. Above all, it was quiet, peaceful, and clean. I had a double room on the 7th floor with a balcony (a beautiful view of the city skyline and the Czantoria Mountains) and a private bathroom. The room was equipped with a desk, plates and cutlery, a kettle, chairs, and two large bath towels. The door was equipped with magnetic cards. The property was ideally located, surrounded by greenery, with walking paths everywhere, and the city center was also close by. The stay included breakfast – the meals were very good (a wide selection of dishes) in a buffet style. The saltwater pools were included in the price… what more could you want?

Przesympatyczna pani przez telefon udzieliła mi wyczerpujących informacji na temat mojego przyszłego pobytu z NFZ. To był mój drugi już telefon, poprzednia pani był tak samo miła, kompetentna. Obie ani odrobinę nie były zniecierpliwione moimi pytaniami, dziękuję :) Aż chce się jechać do tego sanatorium, oby wszystko inne było takie samo:)
