This was my first hospital admission in my life on 13 October 2569 at Phaya Thai Sriracha Hospital due to a lung air leak. But it turned out not to be as scary as I thought 😊
Throughout the 9 days of my stay, I received excellent care and attention from Dr. Kasemsant Kasemwong, the attending doctor, and Professor Kongphand Meunyurachat, who took care of me during my treatment in the emergency department, as well as from every staff member—starting from the ICU to Ward 12A. Everyone cared for me in a warm, attentive way, which made me feel reassured and greatly eased my worries.
Another thing that impressed me was the clean room, with a pleasant fragrance. There was a large TV, and a beautiful view—I could see the sky, the sea, and the mountains. The atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. In addition, there was also a hair-washing service: a mobile unit came to provide it right in my room. That was another thoughtful touch that made things very convenient for patients. As a result, my 9-day recovery went by comfortably. I didn’t feel lonely or isolated at all, and the vegetarian meals were also very delicious 😊
Thank you very much to Professor Kasemsant, Professor Kongphand, and all the staff involved for taking such good care of me. Because of you, my first experience staying in the hospital became a wonderful and warmer memory than I ever expected ❤️
