I cannot recommend Bookimed, Dr. Ilker Manavbasi, and his incredible team highly enough. From the very beginning of my journey through to returning home to Australia, I felt supported, cared for, and completely confident in my decision. A very special thank you to Liliia from Bookimed, who assisted me throughout the entire process. She coordinated everything for my surgery and made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel so much easier. She was always helpful, responsive, and reassuring, and I am so grateful for her support. Dr. Ilker Manavbasi was absolutely amazing from the moment we first met until the day I left Istanbul. I underwent a tummy tuck, breast reduction, and 360 liposuction, and I honestly could not be happier with my results. They are even better than I had hoped for and have completely exceeded my expectations. Dr. Ilker’s nursing team were also wonderful and supported me every step of the way. A special mention must go to Ceyda, who stayed in communication with me via WhatsApp throughout my entire stay in Istanbul. Knowing that she and the team were always just a message away gave me so much reassurance. The aftercare was exceptional. Nurses came to my hotel every second day for lymphatic massages, and whenever I needed anything, the team was there to help. I never felt like I was left on my own once the surgery was over — the care and attention continued throughout my recovery. My recovery has been amazing, and I truly believe that is because of the wonderful care I received from Dr. Ilker and his team. Travelling from Australia to Istanbul for surgery was a big decision, but looking back, I am so happy that I did it. Thank you Liliia, Dr. Ilker Manavbasi, Ceyda, and the entire nursing team for taking such wonderful care of me. I absolutely love my results and am beyond grateful for the whole experience. ❤️ I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone considering surgery in Istanbul.

The consultation and the operation itself were carried out by the same doctor — that was absolutely crucial to me. Using a computer simulation, he showed me in detail what we were aiming to achieve in terms of both breathing and appearance, so I knew exactly what I was getting into. It was a full rhinoplasty using the closed technique. If you’re considering this operation, don’t be afraid to ask about anything that’s on your mind: the team were always on hand and helped to sort out any queries quickly, so the whole trip went smoothly, without any unnecessary stress. I’m still only at the start of my recovery, and it feels pretty much as I expected. It’s reassuring that there were no hidden or additional costs.

If I were asked whether I would recommend lipofilling, I would say: think very carefully. It’s not a straightforward procedure. I had a buttock augmentation, with fat taken from several areas, and recovery takes a long time – you’ll definitely need to take time off work. I’m still in the middle of my recovery, and the bruising in the donor areas is still causing me some discomfort. Overall, I’m happy with the staff’s work; everything’s up to a good standard. But my main advice is: prepare yourself, get to know the doctor, and be fully aware of all the consequences. The most important thing is to choose your doctor carefully.

Te experience was something else. At the clinic everyone was amazing but there were also some problems. Bookimed and the clinic did not communicate that efficiently.. there were some problems and the result was me having to reschedule the operation which was nerve wracking because I had everything already booked. Other than that the experience at the clinic was good, everyone is kind and ready to help with everything you need.

Nice staff, great doctor overall. Thanks to the translator Elvina and everyone who was with me. One thing that was inconvenient, there is no contactless payment. Better to come with cash
