Roth Medica, founded in 2016, is a private multidisciplinary outpatient and day-surgery medical center in Poznań, Poland. The facility provides ambulatory and surgical care across 16 specialized departments. Its medical team of 25 doctors includes 10 otolaryngologists, with a focus on minimally invasive ENT consultations, diagnostics, and day surgery.

Otolaryngology (ENT) and Pediatric Care

The ENT department provides diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, and laryngeal disorders, as well as hearing assessments, for adults and children from the age of 3. The diagnostic scope includes endoscopic and fiberoscopic examinations, ultrasound of the neck, thyroid, and salivary glands, hearing tests, and hearing aid fitting.

With 10 otolaryngologists, the department performs the following procedures:

• Nasal and sinus surgery: endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) using Storz shaver devices to precisely remove polyps and clear the nasal passages while limiting tissue damage and bleeding; septoplasty, conchoplasty, and rhinoseptoplasty; nasal vessel coagulation and management of nosebleeds (epistaxis).
• Throat and tonsil procedures: classical and EVOLVE™ laser tonsillectomy using the Leonardo Biolitec diode laser, and tonsil cryptolysis — the laser seals blood vessels instantly and shortens healing time to about 7 days; targeted palate procedures are also available for snoring and sleep-disordered breathing.
• Specialized and laryngeal care: sialoendoscopy with Storz sialoendoscopes for the diagnosis and treatment of salivary duct disorders; laser removal of lesions of the oral cavity, tongue, and lips; vocal cord assessment with the Techmedica stroboscopic system.
• Pediatric care and diagnostics: fiberoscopy with thin flexible endoscopes (including 2.1 mm scopes) to minimize discomfort, along with pediatric ENT packages such as adenoid and tonsil treatment.

Depending on medical indications, procedures are performed either as outpatient treatments or as surgical procedures in cooperation with the Grunwaldzka Clinic, supported by a 9-bed inpatient recovery ward.
