I had a great experience with my Dr Israel VillaLobos and His staff Elsa and Dr Abraham were very good to me! My surgery was successful! I got lipo with tummy tuck and I'm so glad I chose Dr Israel! The nurses were very attentive and sweet and helpful. The communication was good in expressing what I needed or how I felt and I will recommend this hospital again. I like how fast and easy it was from the start. The surgical facility was small but worked fine. I did not like the post op care. The night nurse was terrible. Her patients were not a priority. Post op care was not made clear. I would have preferred more detailed instructions on after care. I was left guessing about bandages, sprays, medications and scar treatment. Doctor repaired a hernia, of which I was grateful, but would have preferred to have price list in case this occurred so I could have been prepared financially. I felt like price was just made up. So I don't know if I was overcharged. I liked Mexicali as it was a nice quiet clean town. All in all experience was not bad and the price was affordable.

I felt tricked in my experience. I informed the clinic of my entire medical history several months in advance. However, after i booked flights and hotel and arrived in Tijuana, i was informed that they felt my surgery would be too risky, even though i had passed all their medical exams. On top of all that, they charged me $200 for the tests! I do NOT recommend Gilenis to anybody ever. The Bookimed service was great! The only problem i had was that i was referred to a shady clinic by the Bookimed reps are great about answering questions.
