Dr. Michał Krawczyński, MD, PhD, is an ENT, general, and facial plastic surgeon with nearly 30 years of practice. He is Poland’s delegate to the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS). He serves on the examination board of the European Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
He earned a PhD in 2002 on pediatric endoscopic ENT. He completed fellowships in Europe and the United States. He passed the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery exam in Washington, D.C., and received a certificate from the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies. He was the first Polish EAFPS scholar and is a co-author of the Rhinoplasty Archives. From 2005 to 2025, he performed more than 10,000 rhinoplasties. He pioneered pediatric septum and dorsum microsurgical reconstructions using polydioxanone. He is a frequent international lecturer.
Anna Tuszyńska, MD, PhD, is an otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon at Krajmed in Warsaw. She earned her MD and PhD at the Medical University of Warsaw. Her PhD thesis, “Osteitis in Chronic Rhinosinusitis,” was defended with honors and received the Professor Jan Miodoński Scientific Award. She also completed the Postgraduate School of Aesthetic Medicine.
She completed EAFPS fellowships at the University of Toronto (6-month facial plastic surgery) and Amsterdam UMC (2-month). She has been an invited international lecturer at Mayo Clinic Rhinofest. She has taught surgical master courses in Milan, Vienna, Istanbul, Regensburg, Porto, and Amsterdam. Her practice focuses on septorhinoplasty, nasal reconstruction, septal perforation closure, lateral nasal wall suspension, FESS, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, scar revision, ENT endoscopy, tympanometry, and pediatric upper lip-tie.
Jarosław Balcerzak, MD, PhD, is a second-degree specialist in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery with over 35 years of practice. He is the lead consultant at Krajmed Medical Center in Warsaw. He has worked at the Medical University of Warsaw for many years and has headed the Rhinology Department since 2003.
He earned his MD from the Medical University of Warsaw in 1988. He completed first-degree specialization in 1993 and second-degree specialization in 1995. He received his PhD in 1994 for work on juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma. He has been an Assistant Professor (Adiunkt) since 1996.
He has authored 73 scientific papers and 15 chapters in textbooks and monographs. His practice focuses on advanced rhinology, including chronic sinusitis and structural nasal problems. He also performs head and neck surgery and provides expert second opinions in complex ENT cases.
