Hi, I'm Cella, and I’m living in Bali, Indonesia. I’d like to share an honest review based on my experience of finding a medical coordinator, a doctor, and a hospital for my case. I was recently diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and stage 4 endometriosis, which required surgery as soon as possible. I was initially hospitalized in Bali, but the doctor there suggested I look for a better-equipped hospital as they didn’t have the necessary facilities to perform my surgery. It wasn’t easy to find the right care on a small island like Bali. Thankfully, my best friend helped me connect with a medical manager from Bookimed. That’s how we found Alisher, the medical manager and Prof. Dr. A Cem Iyibozkurt from Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul. We arranged an online consultation with the doctor, which was free of charge, I already have all my medical records and MRI results before an online consultation, I’ve prepared everything to speed up the process. and within a week, they scheduled my laparoscopic robotic surgery. Alisher did an excellent job coordinating everything, and I couldn’t be happier with him. Prof. Dr. Cem Iyibozkurt is an amazing doctor, highly experienced, and well-known for his expertise in the field. The hospital itself was fantastic—the nurses and staff took great care of me. I’m really grateful for the smooth process, and I highly recommend them to anyone who may be in a similar situation and looking for this kind of care and has similar situation as mine.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hisar Hospital Intercontinental in Istanbul for the high professionalism, attentiveness and care shown at every stage of my treatment. I underwent hysteroscopic removal of several endometrial polyps, including one large one measuring 3 cm. Everything went perfectly - from the initial consultation to the surgery and post-operative care. Special thanks to my doctor - Op. Dr Berna Buse Kobal. She inspired confidence from the very beginning, explained everything calmly and clearly, acted very carefully and confidently. After the operation I felt great, without pain or discomfort. I would also like to thank Julia, a Bookimed employee, who helped me with counselling and organising the trip. We made the decision literally at the last moment: we were informed from Dushanbe in the evening, flew out at night, and already in the morning I was in the clinic. Everything was organised perfectly - meeting, hospitalisation, surgery on the same day, and in the evening I was already relaxing in the hotel and feeling great. The biggest disappointment was the clinic itself. I have no complaints about the doctor or the staff; they were professional and attentive. However, the conditions of my stay were simply awful, and this, unfortunately, completely overshadowed all the positive impressions I had of the medical staff’s work. It’s very disappointing. No matter how good the doctor is, the environment you find yourself in plays a huge role in the whole process. Ultimately, despite the team’s competence, I cannot give a high overall rating due to the state of the clinic, which made the whole experience extremely negative.

My biggest worry was the recovery process, but everything has been managed so well. The surgeon and staff were incredibly supportive and professional throughout. My laparoscopic procedure went smoothly, leaving me with fewer than ten sutures, and I can see my incision is already healing perfectly. Of course, I’m still very tired, and daily activities like bending or lifting are the main challenge for now, which is to be expected. I feel I was in very capable hands. Based on the care I received, I would definitely suggest this clinic to anyone.

From the start to finish, everything was perfect. I have used different clinics and hospitals in turkey but the service provided here and the care of the doctors has been the best. Aliser and Ayperi were both very caring and help with translation, Aliser was there helping with every need was very humble and caring nature. All the nurses and doctor main concern was the help and our comfort, one nurse who we thanked said no don't thank me it's my job. The doctors visited us everyday to check up and would care for all our needs, even the outpatient admin came to see if everything is ok then said she will speak to the nurses even though it wasn't her job. The airport transportation, pick up and drop off were punctual, room was spacious, clean and tidy. The room was cleaned multiple times a day and food was provided which was tasty considering its hospital. It definitely deserves 10/10 not because of the facilities but because of the staff who run the place from the cleaning staff all the way to the doctors.

Everything was just as Olga (Bookimed) initially told me; I am grateful to her for helping with my issue. I am currently in the recovery process, and even post-intervention, she consistently checks in on me to see how I am doing. She is a very attentive and wonderful person. The airport-clinic transfer and return was conducted flawlessly at a VIP level. The staff at Lokman Hekim Clinic acted promptly and admitted me immediately. The interpreter was ideal, providing great emotional support. Dr. Elif Esra Uyar exceeded my expectations; she paid close attention to everything. I had a problem I had been putting off for several years, and she helped me resolve it, promising that I would become a mother within three months, which gives me immense hope. If I am unable to conceive on my own, she advised me to return to the clinic for assistance with treatment to fulfill my cherished dream. I will certainly return if needed!! Successfully myomectomy Surgery My uterus, my decision: First of all, I am genuinely grateful to Prof Cem Iyibozkurt of Florence Nightingale Istanbul for saving my uterus, which doctors in the UK have declared damaged and useless and saying that the only option for me was a hysterectomy, and I was totally against it. I recently had a successful myomectomy at the end of March 2025, which removed 81 fibroids, and the largest fibroid was a size 21x20 cm. I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids in August 2023, which were in different locations. I had a protruded stomach, and I looked like 6 months pregnant. The fibroids also pressed on my pelvic nerves, causing my left leg to swell and causing excruciating pain. They were also pressing on my internal organs, causing my kidneys to swell, and I became incontinent because they were pressing on my bladder, and I could not empty the bladder. My menstrual blood was so heavy I had to request my employer to work remotely during my menstrual month as I needed to change pads regularly or change clothes in case they had overflowed. I received proper counselling and recommendations on gynaecology. I was satisfied with the doctor's examination. Everything is at the highest level, both the medical staff and the clinic. They responded to my request quickly, the prices are acceptable, not more expensive than in Europe and a lot cheaper than in England. Thank you very much.

Everything was organized according to time, the translator was very helpful and translated everything. But! The prices for medical services differed significantly; the translator told me one amount, but in fact they charged more in a couple of minutes. The gynecologist also promised to comment on the tests that I took on different days, but no comment was forthcoming, nor was there a response by phone.

First of all, I want to say thank you for organizing the trip. At such a late time, I wrote, but they answered me immediately and helped. I read a lot for the clinic, many advised, and as it turned out, not in vain. Very attentive staff, great doctor. When we went to his office and talked, all fears were gone. The doctor answered all questions, explained everything intelligibly, told a lot of useful and interesting information. Thanks also to the girls who helped with the translation into Russian. We will definitely give birth in the Memorial clinic.

У меня сложилось очень хорошее впечатление после первой поездки в клинику. Выбор на клинику пал из- за хорошей диагностики, предложенного врача и в целом отношения во время подготовки к поездке. Понравилось, что есть куратор который все время на связи и организовывает необходимые анализы, отвечает на вопросы, говорит на русском. У меня -Яна, она все организовала быстро, эффективно и видно, что ей не все равно. В клинике очень хорошая диагностика. Мне очень понравился врач- доктор Мерчик. Очень конкретный, знающий, с большим опытом. Сказал, что любая программа будет строиться индивидуально после анализа моих результатов, но в процессе можно будет внести изменения. Видно, что Клиника не боится испортить статистику и брать сложных пациентов как я. У меня очень низкий запас яйцеклеток. Сейчас жду второй поездки и надеюсь на беременность.
