Prof. Dr. Irfan Peksoy is a nuclear medicine specialist. He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. He completed specialty training at the Hacettepe University Department of Nuclear Medicine in 2000. He received the Research Group Achievement Award for the 1998–1999 academic year.
He was an Assistant Professor at Zonguldak Karaelmas University Faculty of Medicine from 2000 to 2004. He became an Associate Professor in 2006. He became a Professor at the Gazi University Department of Nuclear Medicine in 2013. He worked in the department's Nuclear Medicine Clinic until 2015. He has authored articles in nuclear medicine.
Dr. Peksoy currently works at Koru Hospital. His clinical focus areas are PET/CT, SPECT/CT, radiopharmacy, and radiation safety.
