How Much Does Cheekbone reduction Cost in Turkey?

Cheekbone reduction in Turkey typically costs from $2,200 to $5,000. The final price depends on the surgical technique, such as 3D facial sculpting, and the clinic's location. In the US, similar procedures cost around $16,000 on average. Patients save around 78% compared to US prices. Standard Turkish packages often include 3D CT scans, VIP transfers, and luxury hotel accommodation.

  • Surgical technique: Advanced methods like 3D facial sculpting or internal incision techniques may increase the base price.
  • Clinical accreditation: Facilities certified by Joint Commission International (JCI) often charge more for higher safety standards.
  • Geographic location: Medical hubs like Istanbul and Ankara often have higher pricing than regional cities like Antalya.
  • Combined procedures: Adding buccal fat removal or V-line jaw reduction typically adds 20-30% to the total cost.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a clinic with specialized facial bone expertise offers the best value. Quartz Hospital stands out as it was founded by an International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) certified trainer. Meanwhile, Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital provides exceptional transparency by including pre-operative 3D CT scans in their packages. These specialized diagnostics ensure precise surgical planning for more predictable aesthetic results.

Cheekbone reduction in Turkey: Your Travel Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Turkey
  • Arrive in Turkey, ideally on a morning flight, to allow time for pre-operative procedures.
  • You will be picked up by a VIP transfer from the airport and taken directly to the clinic.
  • Undergo a blood test and have a consultation with your plastic surgeon. Complete these before 12:00 PM; otherwise, they will be done the next day.
  • Discuss any allergies, medical history, and specific concerns with your surgeon during the consultation.
  • Prepare for surgery by following pre-operative instructions. You should stop smoking and avoid alcohol for at least 2 weeks prior.
Day 2: Surgery Day
  • Undergo cheekbone reduction surgery. This may involve incisions under the lower eyelid, inside the mouth, or from the hairline. The bone is cut with a special device, repositioned, and fixed with plates and screws.
  • The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. You will spend the night in the hospital for monitoring.
  • Ensure you have not eaten or drunk anything for at least 8 hours before the surgery.
  • Post-operative care includes medications and compression garments provided by the clinic.
Day 3: Post-Operative Care
  • Begin post-operative recovery in the hospital with medical staff monitoring your condition.
  • You may experience some swelling, mild pain, and discomfort, especially while chewing. A soft food diet is recommended.
  • Start icing the cheek area to reduce swelling. Continue this for the first 2 days post-surgery.
  • Receive a postoperative inspection by your doctor and control tests if necessary.
  • Stay in touch with the clinic's 24/7 emergency line for any immediate concerns.
Days 4-7: Recovery Period
  • Continue staying in Turkey to allow time for recovery and follow-up appointments with your surgeon.
  • Avoid exercise or other demanding physical activities for at least 2 weeks post-surgery.
  • Attend scheduled follow-up appointments for doctor controls and to ensure proper healing.
  • Maintain proper hygiene and follow any specific care instructions provided by your surgeon.
  • Take prescribed medications as directed and monitor for any signs of complications.
Day 8: Return Home
  • After a final check-up with your surgeon, you will be cleared to return home.
  • Ensure you have a comfortable setup for rest and recovery during your flight back.
  • Continue following post-operative care instructions and attend follow-up appointments with your local healthcare provider.
  • Be mindful of your activities and avoid any strenuous tasks until fully healed, which may take several weeks.
  • Contact the clinic if you have any questions or concerns after returning home.

Linda has been wonderful to work with, being extremely kind and attentive
I got rhinoplasty done. Linda has been wonderful to work with, being extremely kind and attentive. Though the night immediately after the operation was a bit rough, most of the pain subsided quickly the following days. Operation itself and healing went smooth. Results are also satisfactory, still waiting for the nose to fully heal and see final results though. Good impression of the hospital with clean rooms. Working with the clinic, Oguz and booking.com has been flexible and a  pleasure. No surprise bills. Would honestly recommend 👍
Friendly staff
