How Much Does MRI of the joint Cost in Turkey?

Joint MRI in Turkey typically costs from $100 to $100. The final price depends on the specific joint, protocol complexity, and clinic location. Patients save around 83% compared to the US. In the US, similar diagnostics cost about $600 on average. Most Turkish facilities are concentrated in Istanbul, Ankara, and Bursa.

  • Diagnostic complexity: Specialized imaging like TMJ diagnostics often costs 50-100% more than knee scans.
  • City variations: Competitive pricing in Istanbul often results in lower rates than in smaller cities.
  • Clinic accreditation: Top-tier hospitals with JCI accreditation may charge a premium for higher service standards.
  • Contrast agents: Using contrast dye typically adds 20-30% to the base procedure cost.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a hospital affiliated with international institutions often provides high-quality imaging at a lower cost. Anadolu Medical Center is affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine International and serves 65,000 patients annually. Memorial Şişli Hospital was the first in Turkey to earn JCI accreditation. These centers offer advanced expertise and treat thousands of international patients from over 160 countries. Many top orthopedists there have completed fellowships at major US medical centers like UCLA.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 39 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

My recommendation score is a 10
If you're considering a comprehensive check-up, I would tell you this clinic is a very solid option. My recommendation score is a 10. The facility itself is excellent and extremely well-organized, which made the entire process feel efficient from the moment I walked in. The medical team was professional. Both the staff and my doctor were competent and handled everything as planned, though the service felt very direct and to the point. I'm satisfied with my decision to come here for my health screening.
Brilliant coordinator and translators. Good doctors.
Slightly more streamlined onsite service, and english first evaluations and doctors, even though the translators did a great job at bridging the gap.
