I cannot recommend Jean more highly
RE: bridge and implants My dental experience for years in the United States just cannot compare. Genna, Alma, Roberto & Alec together form such an effective and responsive team. I felt that I was an excellent hands the entire time, I felt nurtured. These good people were willing to take a lot of time with me. they were willing to answer all of my questions. Even when we were in process, they were willing to take time to make sure that I would be satisfied with our decisions. I spent a fraction of the money that I would’ve spent all my expenses. They are complete and total professionals with modern technology and a true care for their patients. I cannot recommend Jean more highly.
Everything. I’ll add here that the office is a three minute walk from the hotel.
Don’t trust or rely on Hilton’s shuttle service.
About Bookimed service

We are very satisfied with the quality of work, the professionalism of Dr
This time we contacted the dental center of Mexico Dentavida to Dr. Alberto Guvera. We are very satisfied with the quality of work, the professionalism of Dr. Alberto. But in the case of my husband, a medical mistake was made in Turkish dentistry when installing crowns, which we will try to solve in the near future. Then we will share the results.
About Bookimed service
Thanks to the Bookimed consultants for their excellent work in providing timely assistance in finding the right clinic in any region of the world. In our case, our family is collaborating for the second time on the problem of dental treatment, the installation of zirconium crowns (autumn 2022, February 2023). I like the individual approach, quick response and understanding of the situation. They are selected qualitatively. not only clinics, but also doctors.

FAQ about Porcelain Veneer in Mexico

What Are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are thin, tooth-colored shells. They cover the front surface of teeth. Veneers improve the appearance of teeth. They can hide imperfections like:

  • discoloration;
  • chips
  • and gaps.

🦷 Veneers are designed to match natural teeth' size, shape, and color. Veneers can be made from:

Types of Dental Veneers

🟢 Porcelain Veneers are durable and offer a natural appearance. They are stain-resistant and ideal for long-term, high-quality results. They are best for patients looking for a permanent solution and can correct significant imperfections. They come at a higher cost and require some enamel removal.

🟢 Composite Resin Veneers are more affordable and can be applied in one visit. They are less durable, typically lasting around 5 years, and may stain over time. Composite veneers are best for patients seeking quick, cost-effective improvements or temporary fixes. Compared to porcelain veneers, composite veneers are a budget-friendly cosmetic dentistry option, making them suitable for minor cosmetic adjustments.

🟢 Zirconium Veneers provide exceptional strength and a natural look. They resist chipping and are perfect for patients with heavy biting forces or significant dental issues. They are durable but come at a higher cost and require more extensive tooth preparation.

Types of Porcelain Dental Veneers

🟡Traditional porcelain veneers are made from thin porcelain layers. They match the natural tooth’s shape and color. These veneers are durable and look natural, with minimal tooth preparation needed.

👉Overall, conventional feldspathic porcelain veneers have a strong survival rate of 87% over an average of 8 years, with some lasting up to 20 years. This demonstrates their durability and effectiveness as a long-term solution for enhancing smiles.

🟡Emax veneers are made from lithium disilicate ceramic. They are strong, translucent, and resistant to chips and stains. They suit patients wanting a long-lasting and attractive option.

🟡No-prep porcelain veneers are thinner than traditional ones. They require little or no preparation of the natural tooth. This makes them ideal for patients seeking a less invasive and quicker procedure.

  • Lumineers are a type of no-prep veneer and are about 0.3 mm thin. They need little to no tooth reduction. Ultra thin lumineers offer a fast, non-invasive way to enhance the appearance of natural teeth.

👉A review article highlighted that Lumineers, which are ultra-thin porcelain veneers, typically have high success rates. Studies show survival rates of about 99.0% and success rates of around 96.4% after 5 years.
