Dr. Bariş Ekici completed his pediatrics specialization at Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty and a subspecialty in child neurology at Istanbul University Medical Faculty. He became an Associate Professor in 2013. His academic contributions include authoring five books on autism and publishing studies on epilepsy in children with periventricular leukomalacia, positron emission tomography findings in children with infantile spasms and autism, and dietary therapies for childhood epilepsy.
