He was a specialist in the Transplant Department of Hospital Clínic de Barcelona from 1995 to 2000, and the leading specialist of the Teknon Internal Medicine Department from 2004 to 2009. He is currently the head of this department and is a member of various organizations, including the Spanish Society of Nephrology, Spanish Society of Arterial Hypertension, and Catalan Society of Arterial Hypertension.
