Duties
- Performing routine and major Penile / Urethral Reconstruction as well as Core Urology procedures twice weekly at Victoria and Queen Margaret Hospitals (Green light prostatectomy, Urolift Service lead, Prostate template biopsies, General urology)
Consultant Urologist providing and supervising the services of andrology and urethral reconstruction surgery. Also covering a general urology one stop outpatient clinics three times per week (Victoria and Queen Margaret Hospitals).
Participation in once weekly local cancer and once monthly specialist male uro-genital reconstruction MDT meetings (Honorary contract at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh) as well as grand ward rounds.
Undergraduate student trainer and member of examiners panel at St Andrews University, Scotland.
Participation in 1:9 on call Urology Consultant rota.
