Tayfun Apuhan

Prof. Dr. Tayfun APUHAN is a specialist in Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery. He graduated with honors from İnönü University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. He completed his residency in Ear, Nose, and Throat and head and neck surgery at İstanbul Haseki Training and Research Hospital in 2003. After his residency, he served as the chief assistant at the Ear, Nose, and Throat and head and neck surgery clinic of Haseki Training and Research Hospital for 4 years. He was a faculty member at Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Medicine and held senior management positions at the Faculty Hospital. He received training in Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University in the United States and in facial aesthetic surgery at The University Medical Center in Hamburg, Germany. He has been a faculty member at Istanbul Gelişim University and has continued his work at Doğuş University since 2018 as a faculty member and head of the audiometry program. He has served as a presenter and session chair at numerous national and international scientific meetings, in addition to serving as an assistant editor, editorial board member, and reviewer for national and international journals. Prof. Dr. Apuhan has published over 200 scientific works in written and oral form. He is the founder of the Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery Department of Özel A plus Hisar Intercontinental Hospital, which opened in 2005. He still works as a staff physician at Özel A plus Hisar Intercontinental Hospital.

• Diagnosis and treatment of pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat diseases; Adenoid, tonsil, placement of ventilation tubes in the ear (Adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, placement of ventilation tubes in the ear)
