Prof. Dr. Suna Emir graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1989. She completed her pediatrics residency at Hacettepe University from 1990 to 1995. In 2001, she finished her pediatric oncology subspecialty at the Hacettepe University Oncology Institute. She became an Associate Professor in 2004. From 2004 to 2009, she worked at Ankara Dışkapı Children's Health and Diseases Training and Research Hospital and founded the Pediatric Oncology Clinic there.
