Professor Lydia Chen (Li Ping) is Chief Physician of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. She has over 30 years of clinical experience. Her work focuses on sudden hearing loss and other ear disorders. She performs both microscopic and endoscopic ear surgery.

Her expertise covers ear procedures such as mastoidectomy, tympanoplasty, cholesteatoma removal, ossicular chain repair, and preauricular fistula excision. Dr. Li Huaifang specializes in gynecologic tumors, pelvic floor disorders, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has performed over 10,000 minimally invasive procedures and more than 5,000 pelvic floor repairs. Her work includes laparoscopic and hysteroscopic cancer operations.
