He specialized in traumatology and orthopedics at the Department of Traumatology and Surgical Orthopedics of the Instituto Dexeus, Barcelona between 1988 and 1993. under the direction of Dr. Villarrubias.

Throughout his medical practice, Dr.Aranda has worked in leading hospitals in Spain, participated in the medical support of the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona and was a traumatologist in the Federación Española de Motociclismo in the European and World Championships in the period 1982 - 1992.
