Urinary incontinence is more than an inconvenience — it can significantly affect a woman’s confidence, daily activities, and quality of life. While in some countries it may be managed conservatively or simply accepted as part of aging, Korea has developed advanced approaches to women’s pelvic health and incontinence treatment.
PODO’s comprehensive urinary incontinence check-up includes bladder ultrasound, a 10-panel urinalysis, specialist consultation, result review, and a personalized treatment plan. When clinically indicated, additional diagnostic testing such as urodynamic testing may be recommended to further evaluate bladder function and voiding disorders.
At PODO Women’s Clinic, we evaluate not only urinary incontinence but also related pelvic floor conditions such as cystocele and rectocele, and provide both non-surgical and surgical treatment options based on each patient’s condition. Surgery is recommended only when medically appropriate.

About the clinic

It is led by Dr. Mo Hyung-Jin, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with a Ph.D. in Medicine, more than 25 years of experience, and over 30,000 clinical and surgical cases, including his 100% suture-free 3D laser labiaplasty and semi-permanent pelvic ligament reattachment procedure.
A team of three specialists uses laser, radiofrequency, ultrasound, and HIFU technologies under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system, treating about 6,000 patients a year. International patients receive multilingual assistance, private one-to-one consultations, VIP recovery rooms, and postoperative care.
