Treatment Description:
Actinium-225 targeted radionuclide therapy is an advanced form of nuclear medicine treatment that uses the radioactive isotope Actinium-225 to selectively target and destroy cancer cells. The treatment is generally administered through an intravenous injection and is designed to deliver highly localized radiation to tumor cells while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissues.
The treatment is typically considered for selected patients with advanced or metastatic cancers that express specific molecular targets, depending on the patient's diagnosis and eligibility.
