I booked a procedure at Hair Clinic Privé two months in advance, paying a deposit right away.
From the start, I found the communication style unusual – most interactions were handled via WhatsApp rather than a more formal channel such as email. Initial responses were professional, but after I submitted the requested medical test results, the only reply I received was a short “OK,” without any formal confirmation or next steps.
Information about the operating doctor was initially vague – I was only told “Dr Marianna,” without a surname or professional references, which I believe is important in aesthetic surgery. After I followed up, I learned that the doctor’s diploma was obtained outside the EU, which further raised my concerns.
Three days before the procedure, the clinic unexpectedly changed my appointment time by more than half a day. As my stay in Poland was very short, I was unable to adjust to this sudden change.
While I appreciate that the clinic refunded my deposit without issue, the situation left me with unnecessary expenses for blood tests and the need to start planning the procedure from scratch – this time in another clinic.
In my view, the lack of transparency and sudden schedule changes undermined my trust in the clinic.
