Oncology Center
Treatment of cancer is based on international protocols according to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) in the USA and European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), leading cancer organizations for medical oncology worldwide.
Oncologists, radiologists, chemotherapists, and doctors of others specialties (cardiologists, orthopedists, urologists etc.) discuss difficult cases on consilium. Thanks to a multidisciplinary approach, specialists can establish a developed treatment plan to avoid medical errors.
Treatment methods at the Oncology Center:
Chemotherapy. The chemo drugs are aimed to stop cancer cells growth. The hospital doctors select chemotherapeutic drugs individually for every patient.
Targeted therapy. It’s a treatment with antibodies that target malignant cells saving healthy ones. Side effects are rare in comparison to standard chemotherapy.
Radiotherapy. 80% of cancer patients undergo this therapy. The hospital’s doctors use a revolutionary linear accelerator TrueBeam STx, that directly irradiates a tumor not affecting healthy tissues. It is used for all tumor types.
Bone marrow transplant. The procedure is necessary for patients who undergo high-dose chemotherapy to restore blood formation. Memorial Antalya Hospital specialists carry out it for patients over 18 years old.
General Surgery Department
Memorial Antalya Hospital is the first private hospital in Turkey licensed for organ (liver and kidney) transplant by Turkish Ministry of Health. It is also the first private hospital to perform a liver transplant.
The Surgery Department is divided into the following specialties:
Breast surgery. The hospital physicians conduct the removal of benign and malignant tumors. Surgeons perform breast-saving operations and breast reconstruction with implants.

If asked whether I would recommend the clinic, I would give it a clear 10 out of 10
My biggest concern was choosing the right surgeon, but this turned out to be completely unfounded. I felt very well looked after right from the first point of contact. The doctor took plenty of time for the consultation, and the whole team at the clinic were professional and very caring, which made the whole process very straightforward for me. Everything went smoothly. Although my recovery is still ongoing, I am extremely satisfied with the care and organisation so far. If asked whether I would recommend the clinic, I would give it a clear 10 out of 10.

My biggest worry was that getting tested abroad would be a complicated and drawn-out process. In reality, however, it was a very quick and efficient procedure. No pain at all. I was pleasantly surprised to receive my results on the very same day, which meant I didn’t have to change my plans. The clinic staff were very attentive, and the Bookimed coordinator really helped with all the organisational matters. The only thing I’d like to see improved is the consultation with the doctor. I felt he could have spent a little more time explaining the results. Otherwise, the service was excellent.

Honest review!!! Had a gastrochecap! I was satisfied with the procedure! Fast, competent, everything was clear and accessible! The price is average (in Germany, for example, the same procedure is three times more expensive 🤷♂️)! The whole procedure lasted 20 minutes under sedation! Results and recommendations were immediately within 5 minutes after the procedure! During the procedure (endoscopy and colonoscopy) I did not feel the slightest discomfort! I can confidently recommend this clinic! Personally, I was satisfied 👍
