Many thanks to Dr Bora Basharan and Alisher Durdiev! Diagnosis: carcinoma on the tongue. Alisher was very helpful with the choice and full support during the treatment. He gave us confidence in choosing Dr Bora Basharan by telling us about his professionalism and humanity. The most important thing for Alisher was the patient's health and to organise the diagnosis/surgery so that the patient gets the best results. We are very happy about this. We could not decide on the treatment (we were waiting for answers from South Korea) and Alisher did not give up to provide us with doctor's answers, answer our many questions and help with organisation. His ability to speak excellent Russian helped a lot in communication. The first meeting organised by Alisher went well. The doctor explained everything about the surgery and gave us peace of mind due to his experience as a highly specialised ENT surgeon in oncology. The operation went well and the follow up health checks. The recovery is good. We read many positive reviews online about Dr Bor Basharan which gave us more confidence. The reviews are true. After the surgery we were given a room with excellent food and the recovery was good. Thank Allah that we met Alisher and Dr Bora Basharan, for his golden hands, good surgery and organisation. This is one of the best hospitals I’ve ever visit! It combines high quality of medicine services with perfect organisation, communication and translations service. I want to send my sincere thanks to Professor Ahmed Tunc Özdemir fra department of urology. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and always ready to help! I warmly recommend professor to all the patients who need a really skilled doctor who is always willing to do his best for helping! He has in addition, very kind and generous personality! My sincere thanks goes further to coordinator Alisher and translator Gulnaz. Alisher is a perfect example of the right person on the right place. He possess executive management skills and it is a pleasure to communicate with him. He is expert to organise, coordinate and give a quick feedback. He is always smiling and polite. Alisher is always trying to solve all the problems on a best way and is a really good listener and communicator. Last but not least I want to express my sincere gratitude to translator Gulnaz! Gulnaz is extremely talented, professional, kind and supportive person ! She is the person you will be happy to meet when you are far from home and need help to understand a different language. She is like a little sunshine on a rainy day, always kind and smiling and always ready to make you feel better! The perfect combination of highly skilled people makes really this hospital special. In addition there are very nice staff on the 7th floor. Both nurses and caregivers are amazing and very helpful. Special thanks to nurse Nestle for her help! Whole the hospital is very nice and welcoming. I liked the restaurant and food. I highly recommend that hospital to everyone!

Aliser Durdıyev is a jewel in the crown of Florence Nightingale Hospital. Available 24/7. Speaks excellent English. Arranged everything including sightseeing tours. I was completely safe as a single female in Istanbul for my surgery Wonderful MDs and cuisine I’m in the medical field and Istanbul met my exacting standards. I m so glad I came rather than South America. As language barriers are greater there. It is because of Aliser that the decision was made to come here. And even in spite of international concerns ,Istanbul is still one of the best medical destinations

From the start to finish, everything was perfect. I have used different clinics and hospitals in turkey but the service provided here and the care of the doctors has been the best. Aliser and Ayperi were both very caring and help with translation, Aliser was there helping with every need was very humble and caring nature. All the nurses and doctor main concern was the help and our comfort, one nurse who we thanked said no don't thank me it's my job. The doctors visited us everyday to check up and would care for all our needs, even the outpatient admin came to see if everything is ok then said she will speak to the nurses even though it wasn't her job. The airport transportation, pick up and drop off were punctual, room was spacious, clean and tidy. The room was cleaned multiple times a day and food was provided which was tasty considering its hospital. It definitely deserves 10/10 not because of the facilities but because of the staff who run the place from the cleaning staff all the way to the doctors.

I had to do an operation of the fracture of my little finger that happened during vacation in the South of Turkey. The organization was supported by Alisher Durdiyev and was very quick and helpful, even during the late evening. The surgery could be organized very quickly, the doctor Levent Yalcin, one of the rare hand surgeons, was extremely good, could incorporate my wishes and I was back with my family very quickly. The teams of nurses and doctors in the hospital was very good. Thanks a lot to the great team!

Dr. Ali Vefa Öztürk was absolutely amazing. He really knows his medicine and was extremely helpful and nice to me. We had several video calls and the Dr was very clear and detailed and because Dr. Ali speaks perfect english it was so nice to be able to understand and communicate directly with the Dr and have a meaningful conversation. Dr. Ali was always available to contact and clarify anything even on weekends and busy days and Alişer who co-ordinated everything was also always available, ready to help and organised absolutely everything. He delivered on everything we said and agreed and was always asking if I needed anything else and would ask the Dr any concerns I had. Both Alişer and Dr. Ali really care about their patients and I know this for a fact because Dr Ali said the treatment I was asking for was unnecessary and there was no need to do any procedures, even trying to talk me out of needing anything further. However, I insisted on having the treatment anyway and we proceeded after much deliberation and only after the Dr knew that I was absolutely sure in what I wanted and understood all of the risks associated. But at no point was I pressured into doing anything I didn’t want to and it was actually quite the opposite which is in contrast to many other hospitals and Doctors who would say yes to everything and add on many extra tests and charges against my will. This led me to trust Dr Ali and combined with his lovely personality and knowledge, and he was always so friendly and nice to me, I felt I was in very capable and safe hands. Everything was explained to me properly and Dr Ali respected my decisions and wishes and understood everything I asked. I whole heartedly recommend both Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals and Dr. Ali Vefa Öztürk for anyone else who is looking for medical expertise and will always be thankful for the excellent help I received.

I highly recommend Florence Nightingale Hospital to anyone that is about to undergo a medical journey. For us, everything happened so suddenly. From the moment we uploaded files and made our request on Bookimed, Aliser as the International Coordinator was immediately on hand to support us - incredibly attentively and with compassion. He was supportive to our needs, and at a moment’s notice jumped onto WhatsApp calls to answer any questions and went above and beyond to give us the information we needed. We were navigating significant timezone issues (based in Hong Kong, whereas the patient, father-in-law, was in Albania) but we didn’t feel this burden. We had lots of specific needs that were met, including jumping onto a Video call with Professor Yildiray Yuzer, to answer questions directly. We weren’t the easiest of patients with lots of reassurance needed, but Aliser was helpful in being able to put himself in the position of the patient and being on our side to help us. We were incredibly satisfied by the level of support that we received - especially in comparison to other hospitals in Istanbul. I can’t recommend Aliser and the level of support we received enough - especially in such difficult circumstances. Once we arrived in Istanbul we appreciated being met with a transfer, and recommendations were made for accommodation to ensure that we were comfortable. Throughout our consultations, we most definitely felt that the Florence team was earnest - putting patient health first, above profit, which we appreciated. During the hospital stay itself, we were also blown away by the compassion of the nurses and support staff in our ward. Something that was so challenging, was punctuated throughout with so many moments of warmth and support. In addition, the facilities, hospital rooms, and cleanliness and hygiene at Florence were fantastic, we couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Most importantly, we were reassured by the experience and expertise of Professor Yuzer and his team. Any patient can trust that they are in expert hands. It’s also helpful to see that these skills are supported by a genuine empathy for the patient. Ultimately, the procedure was a success (we hope that positive health outcome continues!). It feels surreal having embarked on the journey, however, I’m incredibly satisfied with the service, support and expertise of the hospital. There’s nothing I can think of to improve!
