From start to finish, the whole experience went smoothly. Communication was exceptional, and having a translator helped greatly—I understood what was happening more than I would have in my local hospital. The doctor was open and honest, explaining exactly where the scars on both my arms would be, their visibility, and how to position my arms for recovery. I would have liked an itinerary with timings and some aftercare instructions in paper format. That said, the clinic is easy to reach and stays in touch with clear guidance. I am feeling better than expected. My only extra cost was the flight. Definitely bring lots of baggy clothes and some snacks. I can honestly give 5 *

Understood what and when was happening more than I would have in my local hospital. Clean, Caring, Smooth transitions, patient led and patient at the front of every decision, even being home I can contact the clinic and get a timely response. The Dr was open and honest, had a great sense of humor and has given me some neat scars. The staff were fabulous , they listened and talked you through as much or as little as you wanted

I would have liked an itinerary, some more information of where to be at what time and how I was getting there. Some aftercare in paper format so that I could go back and read that rather than contacting the clinic would be great.

The choice of doctor played a significant role. Dr. Saynur Yilmaz, an obstetrician-gynecologist, is an excellent specialist and a person of incredible warmth. You can confidently entrust her with both your health and your mood. I really dislike gynecology and everything related to it, but with this woman, any issues become simpler. And of course, the overall work of the entire clinic is excellent: the staff is very responsive and qualified, the medical equipment is modern, and interpreter services are always available. I did not find any areas that needed improvement.

What worried me the most before the surgery were the organizational aspects in a foreign country, and unfortunately, my concerns were justified. Be very careful in pharmacies: I was severely misled during currency conversion. Make sure to exchange money in advance and always request a receipt at the pharmacy. I only received the difference back after my coordinator called the pharmacy. As for the medical care itself, everything was excellent. My surgeon personally conducted both the consultation and the complete rhinoplasty. He clearly explained the objectives regarding both breathing and aesthetics. The staff remained in contact after the surgery and proactively inquired about my well-being. I now feel approximately as expected.

Liked the clinic, the staff, the doctor was attentive, the surgeon's professionalism, the coordinator's work.

Did not like the first day of arrival at the hospital, there was no translator, they did not explain the specific reason, started processing the documents, said I had to pay immediately upon arrival, without providing me with a translation, took me to the room and left me there for 2 hours alone, without water, felt like an abandoned blind kitten in a foreign country, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, the service did not match what was promised.

I was most concerned about the recovery, but it turned out to be not scary at all. I feel much better than I expected. My doctor clearly explained the goals we are pursuing: both for breathing and aesthetics. We performed an open rhinoplasty, correcting the bridge and tip of the nose. After the procedure, the clinic team was always in touch, which was very reassuring. An important practical point: besides the cost at the clinic, I had additional expenses for medication and food, as the hotel only included breakfasts. Therefore, my main advice is to trust the team and don't be afraid of anything. Just make sure to bring extra money for medication and food.

I would like to express my immense gratitude to Bookimed for organizing the trip! Traveling for surgery without knowing the language was incredibly frightening. But the support was amazing: the whole team was constantly in touch both before and after the trip. A special thanks to the translator Olga — she was simply superb, practically guiding me through every step. I was very impressed with the doctor, and everything was convenient and comfortable. I am extremely satisfied!

The conversation with my surgeon before the procedure really set the tone. He was honest about realistic results, examined me thoroughly, and explained the technique—liposuction with gland excision—very clearly. I’m still early in my recovery, but I’m feeling better than expected. The support afterward has been solid. The clinic has stayed in touch and gave me a straightforward aftercare guide. The only additional expenses were for recovery medications and compression garments, which was a small and predictable cost. A piece of advice for others: make sure you confirm the most direct route to the airport pick-up location in advance and ask about which airport is most convenient for travel, as it can make a difference.

The care was exceptional. From the moment I opened conversation expressing my interest in the procedure and process, the Bookimedgroup and hospital team walked with me through every step with excellent communication, accommodating all of the travel mishaps, and ensuring that I was comfortable, and took extremely helpful steps l, at their inconvenience, to make me feel well taken care of. The coordinators, nurses, and doctors were professional, kind, and explained each detail as much as I needed to feel that the procedure would be a smooth, safe, and rewarding. I am extremely pleased with the experience, and have already recommended them to my family member, interested in a different procedure. I would be happy to work with them again, and would not even consider another option. They made things almost too easy. The facility was clean, well staffed, and made the stay as comfortable as could be asked for. Everyone was kind and caring, and really made you feel... safe. I would tell anyone on the fence, talk to the Bookimed team, even as an exploratory conversation. There was no pressure, they are sensitive to people's needs and unique situations. You will not regret it. It was a great experience, and we'll into recovery, they are reaching out, checking on my progress, making certain I am doing well. Well, the hospital food is a general human complaint, and doesnt count. Sometimes the nurses and I had language difficulties l, but in most cases l, there was someone available to come and translate specific details. Otherwise, I have zero complaints. It was the best medical experience I have had, so it is difficult to site an improvement, directly.

The conversation with my surgeon before the procedure made all the difference. He was respectful of my gender identity and carefully explained which technique would be best for my body, taking the time to discuss my chest masculinization goals. I opted for a result without nipple grafts, with a plan to get tattoos later. So far, my recovery is going about as expected. The clinic has been great about staying in touch. It was also a relief that there were no additional expenses on top of the original price. Everything was straightforward.

I was mostly worried about scars since I had an anchor lift. However, the doctor reassured me completely: he measured everything meticulously, marked it precisely, and honestly discussed the actual results, clearly explaining the placement of the T-shaped seams. I'm still recovering, but I feel much better than I expected. The support from the clinic is excellent. They are always in touch, proactively checking in on how I'm feeling, and the care instructions were very clear. The only thing is that I had to buy additional medication after the surgery for about 60 euros, which is worth considering.

Everything was excellent, very high-quality service, a good clinic, and a wonderful doctor. They constantly monitored me, helped me eat and get out of bed after the surgery. The translators were wonderful young women who explained everything very well.

Honestly, I didn't find any negatives. The only thing I didn't like was that the ward was near the reception, and the nurses talked very loudly all night, making it hard to fall asleep.

I was on 29 September 2025 at Lockman hekim clinic for breast and eyelid reduction.All my fears and doubts were in vain. From the very beginning of my enquiry at Bookimed to the last taxi ride to the airport after the procedures, everything went without a single obstacle. Everything went smoothly and smoothly. We arrived very early, we were taken to the clinic and our interpreter Olga was already in touch with us. We were placed in a beautifully decorated room, on the same day all the necessary medical parameters were taken. The doctor clearly explained what would happen and how it would be done. We were in the clinic for 3 days and then to the hotel. It was also clean, beautifully designed, rich breakfast. I recommend Lokman Hekim and Dr Marat Yaman if you want to change your appearance.

Food, staff, I can't single out anything, everything was good.

My biggest worry was whether the results would be realistic. What I valued most about my surgeon was his honesty; he used computer imaging to show me the expected outcome for my full nose reshaping, which set a clear, achievable goal. The procedure was an open rhinoplasty, and while I’m still healing, my recovery is progressing about as expected. The clinic staff provided great support, staying in touch and giving me a clear aftercare guide. No surprises with costs either. For anyone planning this, I’d recommend bringing a neck pillow, cotton swabs, cleansing wipes, dry mouth spray, and a lip balm. You’ll likely be breathing through your mouth for the first week, so keeping your lips and mouth moisturized makes a big difference.

I had a great experience from start to finish. The entire team was professional, kind, and supportive throughout my facial surgery journey. They made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and provided excellent care before and after my procedure. The clinic was clean, well organized, and the follow-up during my recovery has been outstanding. I’m still healing, but I’m very happy with my experience so far and grateful for the care I’ve received.

The consultation with the doctor was the most memorable part of my preparation. Using computer modelling, he showed me what the result would look like, and explained very clearly what we were aiming for — both in terms of breathing and aesthetics. To correct the bridge and tip of my nose, we opted for a minimally invasive preservation rhinoplasty technique. It’s still too early to assess the final results. I was very pleased with the clinic staff – after the operation, they gave me clear aftercare instructions and stayed in constant contact with me, which was very reassuring. The only downside was that there were additional costs on top of the amount originally paid to the clinic, which is why I’ve given an overall rating of 4 rather than 5.
