I remember the surgeon pointing to my MRI scan, showing me exactly which disc would be treated and clearly explaining the entire process before the operation. That initial consultation set the tone for the whole experience. He was direct and honest about the recovery time, which helped me prepare properly for my artificial disc replacement surgery. Everything was handled with professionalism. I can also confirm that there were no additional expenses on top of what I initially paid the clinic, which makes the financial aspect very transparent. I am still in early recovery. At this stage, I'm feeling better than expected. My main advice for anyone else would be to have trust in the whole clinic team, from the surgeon to the rest of the staff.

Whether the doctor would really have the expertise was my main worry. That worry was unfounded. The doctor was excellent and very knowledgeable. Separately, Maria from Bookimed was excellent. She responded quickly at all times and took care to check all the details for my gastroenterology consultation. On the other hand, I found that the clinic staff were slow to respond. They also forgot to book one important test, which was a significant oversight in the organization of my visit. The clinic itself was very good.

If you are considering a consultation with a neurosurgeon, my initial steps have been handled very well. The entire process felt organized from the beginning. My bookimed coordinator was amazing, really helpful and efficient, which made a significant difference. The surgeon was professional and clear during our remote meeting. It’s still early for me. I’ve only had a remote initial appointment so far, so can’t rate the hospital yet! But based on the coordination and communication, I feel I'm in good hands. This level of support is reassuring as I begin my recovery journey.

I had a very positive experience throughout my whole journey to get surgery in BCN. I was led to Dr. Conesa who was professional, attentive, caring, and . I felt completely confident in his skills and ability. He made himself available to speak to me at anytime before and after surgery, which was so appreciated. The hospital care was exemplary, it was impressive how quickly I moved through the preoperative visits, blood work, X-rays, anesthesia visit etc. Post op care was great. I had a very positive experience all the way through. I can recommend, BookiMed 100% who helped navigate the process .
