I was most impressed by the respect and kindness I received throughout this process. It made a significant difference. My surgeon, Dr. Burğa, is exactly what a patient could wish for in a doctor: honest, helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He was upfront about recovery and took the time to show me the malleable implant and explain the sizing options before the procedure.
The booking with Bookimed was a good choice; they take care of everything. While communication could sometimes be a bit difficult because of the translation, it was always possible to ask again for clarity. I also appreciated that there were no additional expenses on top of what was agreed. I am still in early recovery but feel very well looked after.

However, the doctor inspired confidence initially but his performance was very poor. During the consultation, he minimized all the risks and made everything seem very simple, he was like a salesman. In the surgery room he realized that he couldn’t do the surgery he planned for me, and he did to me a totally different surgery just for the sake of money. Instead of solving my problem he added more horrible problems to my life.
Bedsides the fact that I payed for on surgery and received another one, what he did was harmful to my body with a very negative impact on my life and my mental health. I feel worse. On top of this, I had to pay for some transfers due to car unavailability. My advice is to be very careful in discussions with the doctor; ask as many questions as possible and trust your gut feeling when making a big decision.

Speaking with the surgeon before my procedure was very reassuring. I felt heard. Overall, I found that "the staff was amazing, the doctor was highly knowledgeable and helpful." The primary downside was the hospital environment; it is highly busy and many things took a long time to complete before the surgery, which was frustrating. Since then, the medical team has remained easy to reach with any questions I've had during this early recovery period. It was also a relief that there were no additional expenses on top of what I paid the clinic. The medical care was solid.

If you're considering this, remember that surgery is always a last option. My surgeon, Dr.Bugra Cetin, was a key part of my process; he was honest about recovery and expectations, discussed all risks openly, and carefully explained the sizing for my malleable Rigicon implant. The clinic's support has been reliable. They gave me a clear aftercare guide and have been easy to reach. It’s still early, so it’s too early to tell about the final result, but at Week 4 post-surgery, so far, so good. There were no additional expenses on top of what was quoted. I would advise any patient to ask as many questions as possible and also carry out your own research. Be comfortable and trust your surgeon.

I really don't know what could have been better. I was a highly satisfied patient. Dr Cetin and his support team did their utmost best to make me feel comfortable. Surgeries are always last options, so I wasn't expecting a party.

What worried me most was how the final length would turn out, but the result is already better than expected. The team was faultless. My incision for the 3-piece Rigicon implant is healing cleanly, though the most difficult part of recovery has been just trying to sit comfortably. The clinic facility itself is why I gave a lower rating; it’s functional but feels dated. This did not detract from the quality of the medical attention, however. Based on the care from the staff and the surgeon, I would direct others here.
The whole experience overall was great. Dr Bugra Cetin made himself available throughout my time in Istanbul, when he wasn't in surgery, that made my trip easy. The staff at Bookimed addressed all my concerns day and night, with taxi, clinic and still with my recovery while back home. I got with my local Urologist for them to have a look at my surgical area and they were happy with the results so far and said everything looks perfect! Thanks Dr. Cetin and Team!

If you’re considering this surgery, the main thing is to be patient with the recovery. My incision is still a bit tender, but the surgeon and the staff were very good at explaining every step. I felt well looked after by them. We opted for a 3-piece AMS 700 inflatable implant, and the result in terms of length is exactly as we’d discussed beforehand, which is a relief. The clinic was fine, although coordination in some administrative areas could be improved slightly. Overall, the medical team was excellent. Be prepared for the healing process.

The surgeon and staff earned their high marks; they were professional and clear about the 2-piece inflatable implant procedure. At this stage, the incision site is still quite tender, which is normal. It’s just too swollen to tell how the length compares to my expectations yet. I'm still healing. While the physical recovery requires patience, the medical care itself was solid and I felt well-supported throughout the process.
