I am very pleased with the result, the work was done quickly and efficiently
The appointment took place exactly at the appointed time. The doctor met me, examined me, and told me everything in detail. The price did not change from the agreed one (although we were travelling from a long way and I was worried that something would go wrong) But I am very pleased with the result, the work was done quickly and efficiently. Without pain and scars. I am also grateful to Stanislav! If he had recommended this clinic to me and led me to a consultation and further papilloma removal, I might not have decided to go. But I trusted him, and I don't regret it. I recommend it to everyone

I visited the clinic for mole removal. I strongly advise confirming the full cost of services in advance, as the price during the procedure turned out to be significantly higher than initially quoted. Ultimately, I paid 9,500 kronor for the removal of two small moles, which were neither large nor deep. I consider such a price unjustifiably high. Additionally, I was unpleasantly surprised by the charge for a prescription — 500 kronor for an ointment is something I encountered for the first time. Furthermore, I was practically forced to purchase another one directly at the clinic for 1,000 kronor. They explained that it was necessary to use both ointments alternately. This situation appears non-transparent and raises doubts about the justification of both the prices and the prescriptions. Therefore, I recommend considering the option of undergoing similar procedures in Ukraine, where prices are significantly more affordable.
Let me put it this way: I haven't seen the full result after the procedure yet because there is still a scab, and it's healing well. Therefore, I can't say anything about the result just yet.

On November 23, I underwent a "Botox" procedure. According to the cosmetologist, 130 units of the drug Dysport were administered. Unfortunately, 12 days have passed, and there is no result. In the forehead and glabella area, there is full activity, and in the eye area, there is also no result, except for swelling, which appeared on the second day and persists to this day. I understand that the swelling will subside in the next 2.5-3 months, but muscle paralysis in the forehead and glabella area apparently will not occur, either due to an insufficient amount of the drug or incorrect injection depth. I cannot recommend this procedure at this clinic.

  • Clinical dermatology: Dr. Iryna Kovel provides expert care backed by international training in five countries.
  • Surgical precision: Dr. Timur Mamayev blends surgical accuracy with anatomical knowledge for harmonious facial results.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows Prague doctors often hold board certifications from multiple European countries. For example, Dr. Gabriel Felici combines Italian certification with research at Charles University. This international integration allows specialists to apply diverse preparation techniques that may not be available in single-market clinics.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize finding clinics that investigate the root cause before starting injections. They note that the specific needle technique and preparation quality significantly impact their comfort and results. Many felt more confident when doctors provided a clear follow-up plan for the weeks after treatment.

What qualifications should I look for in a Czech PRP doctor?

When selecting a PRP doctor in the Czech Republic, prioritize MD-qualified specialists with board certification in dermatology or otorhinolaryngology. Look for practitioners who have completed international training in aesthetic or regenerative medicine. These experts should demonstrate anatomical precision and use certified preparation protocols.

  • Medical credentials: Qualified doctors hold MD or MUDr degrees with Czech Medical Chamber membership.
  • Surgical background: ENT or head and neck surgery backgrounds provide superior facial anatomy knowledge.
  • Sub-specialized training: Seek specialists with international workshops from Paris, London, or Krakow.
  • Regenerative focus: Top doctors publish research on clinical dermatology and innovative regenerative creams.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows a unique trend in Prague where many PRP specialists are cross-trained in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) surgery. For example, Dr. Timur Mamayev and Dr. Pavlína Franeková combine surgical accuracy with aesthetic medicine. This dual expertise is vital for patients seeking PRP for facial rejuvenation, as these surgeons understand deep tissue structures better than general practitioners.

Patient Consensus: Patients note it is important to find a doctor who explains if you are a good candidate. They appreciate when a physician focuses on natural results rather than making unrealistic guarantees. Those treated in Prague often mention that detailed follow-up plans made them feel more confident in their recovery.

Where can I find leading PRP specialists in Prague?

Prague hosts leading PRP specialists at clinics like Altos Clinic, where doctors focus on regenerative medicine and aesthetic dermatology. These experts hold certifications from Charles University and international boards. They apply platelet-rich plasma for skin rejuvenation, hair loss, and musculoskeletal healing with high precision.

  • Specialized credentials: Specialists like Dr. Gabriele Felici hold Italian board certification in dermatology and dermatosurgery.
  • International training: Dr. Iryna Kovel completed advanced aesthetic medicine training in London, Paris, and Monaco.
  • Advanced techniques: Doctors use PRP alongside laser technologies and microneedling for enhanced tissue regeneration results.
  • Surgical background: Experts such as Dr. Timur Mamayev combine ENT surgical accuracy with aesthetic facial treatments.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows PRP specialists in Prague often possess dual expertise in surgery and dermatology. For instance, Dr. Pavlína Franeková has over 10 years of experience blending ENT surgery with aesthetic medicine. Choosing doctors with this anatomical background may provide better outcomes for facial PRP injections. Consultation fees for top specialists in this region are approximately $150.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that the best results come from clinicians who explain the full protocol and session timeline. They suggest choosing a doctor who routinely performs the procedure for your specific concern, like hair loss. Many patients felt more confident when their specialist used ultrasound guidance for orthopedic injections.

Do Czech PRP doctors typically combine injections with other treatments?

Czech specialists frequently combine Platelet-Rich Plasma injections with other therapies to improve regenerative results. Doctors integrate these biological treatments into multi-stage protocols for orthopedic recovery and aesthetic rejuvenation. These combinations help address both symptoms and underlying tissue damage effectively.

  • Dermal fillers: Doctors like Dr. Iryna Kovel pair PRP with hyaluronic acid for enhanced skin hydration.
  • Microneedling: Specialists use radiofrequency microneedling with plasma to accelerate healing and collagen production.
  • Physical therapy: Orthopedic plans often include structured rehab to manage joint load after injections.
  • Stem cell therapy: Some practitioners merge PRP with stem cell treatments for complex tissue regeneration.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows that Czech doctors often hold dual qualifications in ENT and aesthetic medicine. For example, Dr. Timur Mamayev and Dr. Pavlína Franeková apply surgical precision to minimally invasive plasma treatments. This allows them to combine PRP with complex anatomical procedures that typical solo aesthetic injectors may not offer.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that plasma therapy works best when paired with guided exercise rather than as a single fix. Many were surprised that doctors recommended multi-session protocols or bracing to protect the area. They emphasize that the follow-through plan after the injection makes the biggest difference in their recovery.

What questions should I ask a Czech doctor before PRP?

When interviewing a Czech doctor for PRP therapy, inquire about their specific medical specialization and preparation methods. Top specialists often have backgrounds in dermatology or otorhinolaryngology. Ask if they are members of the Czech Medical Chamber and confirm their experience with your specific aesthetic or clinical goals.

  • Surgical background: Ask how their ENT or surgical training improves injection precision and facial anatomy knowledge.
  • Plasma concentration: Inquire about the centrifuge protocol and if they use leukocyte-rich or pure PRP formulations.
  • Treatment combinations: Ask if they combine PRP with microneedling or hyaluronic acid for better results.
  • Success rates: Request their specific success rate for your condition rather than general procedure statistics.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Czech specialists often have academic backgrounds that bridge clinical research and aesthetic practice. For instance, Dr. Gabriel Felici is a PhD candidate in experimental dermatology. Patients can benefit from this by asking how current scientific publications influence the doctor's specific injection protocol and post-care products.

Patient Consensus: Patients note it is important to understand the exact processing method and how many centrifuge spins are used. They often feel more comfortable when doctors explain pre-procedure restrictions on anti-inflammatory medications in plain language. Many were surprised that results are not instant and recommend asking for a realistic timeline for improvement.
