The doctor holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Central de Barcelona, completed a specialization in Otolaryngology at the Catholic University of Leuven, and undertook a fellowship in ear surgery at the Hospital Universitario San Carlos.
The doctor's clinical focus encompasses general otolaryngology, adult and pediatric ENT care, complex ear surgery, and diagnostic evaluations. Additionally, the doctor holds a Master’s degree in Laser and Phototherapy and is an active contributor to scientific literature in the field.
Dr. Jordi Coromina Isern is the director of Otolaryngology at Centro Médico Teknon in Barcelona. He pioneered the use of Da Vinci robotic surgery for ENT care in Spain. Dr. Coromina holds the César Bertrán Award for surgical innovation. He completed fellowships at Mayo Clinic and Boston Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Volkert Boudewijn Wreesmann is a head and neck surgeon at ANDSURGEONS Clinic in Barcelona. He performed 1,200 major oncologic resections during his fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Wreesmann specializes in complex thyroid surgery and facial plastic reconstruction for adults and children. He currently sits on the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Surgical Oncology.
