If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B
Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B. Care Medical Center for your medical needs.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!
The attending doctors are both very professional.
Medical staff lacks the professional etiquettes

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily. I would not recommend this clinic

I'm pleased I went there
Well it's been about a month and I'm still recovering but I'm pleased I went there.
The people were nice
What I didn't like wasn't to do with the place or people. I went through quite a painful procedure getting rid of rather a lot of moles and I almost wished I hadn't when I was in pain. It's all changed now that I'm healing.

FAQ about Collagen Lifting in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Who are the top-rated doctors for collagen lifting in Thailand?

Top-rated doctors for collagen lifting in Thailand include specialists like Dr. Pimpa Tantanasrigul and Dr. Napat Jirattitikarntavorn. These experts hold international certifications in dermatology and anti-aging medicine. They utilize advanced Ultherapy and Thermage techniques at facilities accredited by JCI and the Royal College of Surgeons.

  • Dr. Pimpa Tantanasrigul: Board-certified dermatologist with imperial training in clinical dermatology and laser surgery.
  • Dr. Napat Jirattitikarntavorn: Specialized in thread lifting and facial rejuvenation at Menness Wellness Clinic.
  • Dr. Sirintip Jira-adsai: Focuses on regenerative medicine and natural anti-aging outcomes at Asia Cosmetic Hospital.
  • Dr. Bank Santisukwongchot: Expert in Ulthera and specialized filler techniques from the University of Chiang Mai.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Analysis shows that top Thai specialists often hold dual international qualifications. For example, Dr. Pimpa Tantanasrigul earned a Master of Science from Imperial College London. Dr. Napat Jirattitikarntavorn offers online consultations for approximately $45. This allows patients to discuss personalized facial design before traveling to Bangkok.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize the importance of bringing detailed written questions to overcome potential language gaps. Many noted that results typically stay fresh for around six months. Following strict sun protection and hydration after the procedure significantly improves the final look.

What certifications should I look for in a Thai collagen lifting specialist?

Qualified Thai collagen lifting specialists must hold a valid Thai Medical License from the Medical Council. Look for doctors with board certification in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery. Top practitioners often possess international certifications from the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine (ABAM) to demonstrate global competency.

  • Board certification: Specialists should have formal residency training in Dermatology or Aesthetic Medicine.
  • International training: Many doctors hold degrees from reputable institutions like the University of Nottingham.
  • Procedural certificates: Look for specific training in regenerative medicine or energy-based lifting devices.
  • Clinic accreditation: Choose specialists practicing in facilities with JCI or ISAPS-recognized standards.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows a strong trend of Thai specialists pursuing international dual-degree programs. For instance, Dr. Prangpra Srisawas earned her medical degree from both the University of Nottingham and Srinakharinwirot University. This cross-border education often results in a deeper understanding of both Western safety protocols and Asian aesthetic trends.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that doctors at accredited Bangkok clinics provide detailed consultations about different lifting technologies. Many feel reassured when specialists explain exactly how specific devices will improve their skin texture. The thorough communication style helps patients feel much more comfortable during the actual procedure.

Do doctors in Thailand perform the collagen lifting procedures themselves?

Certified doctors in Thailand perform collagen lifting procedures themselves as required by national medical regulations. Thai law recognizes these treatments as medical acts rather than cosmetic services. Licensed physicians like Dr. Pimpa Tantanasrigul handle specific energy-based devices and minimally invasive thread techniques to ensure patient safety.

  • Legal requirement: Thai medical acts require licensed doctors to perform all injectable and laser treatments.
  • Specialized certification: Key practitioners hold international diplomas in dermatology from prestigious universities in Japan and UK.
  • Direct execution: Doctors who provide the structural facial assessment also perform the actual lifting procedure.
  • Advanced training: Leading specialists maintain certifications from the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows Thai doctors often hold multiple international certifications in dermatology and regenerative medicine from Japan, the UK, and the USA. For instance, Dr. Pimpa Tantanasrigul at Wansiri Hospital and Dr. Nutt Chawalitkul at Dr.Nutt Clinic both completed advanced dermatology training at Juntendo University in Japan. This cross-border education is a common standard among Thailand's top aesthetic physicians.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that doctors are deeply involved in every step of the lifting process. They appreciate undergoing procedures in hospitals that hold international accreditations like JCI. Many feel reassured knowing their treatment is managed by a physician who also specializes in preventive medicine.

Can I consult with an English-speaking doctor in Thailand?

English-speaking doctors in Thailand are readily available for collagen lifting and aesthetic treatments. Leading practitioners in Bangkok and Chiang Mai often hold degrees from international joint programs or participate in global medical congresses. These specialists communicate clearly with patients at JCI-accredited facilities and private clinics.

  • International training: Dr. Prangpra Srisawas graduated from a joint program with the University of Nottingham.
  • Global credentials: Many specialists are members of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).
  • European exposure: Dr. Chayuth Fungthongjaroen participates in international aesthetic congresses in cities like Paris.
  • Multilingual clinics: Facilities like Asia Cosmetic Hospital hold ISO and JCI accreditations for international standards.

Bookimed Expert Insight: A notable pattern among top Thai aesthetic specialists is their focus on Swiss and European techniques. For example, Dr. Bank Santisukwongchot in Chiang Mai specifically trained in Belotero Lips techniques from Switzerland. This ensures that international patients receive treatments using globally recognized products and standardized methods.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that doctors in Bangkok hospitals speak excellent English and explain procedures clearly. Many were surprised by how easy it was to discuss their aesthetic goals without a translator. They often mention feeling very comfortable during the initial consultation because of this clear communication.

How do Thai doctors determine the best collagen lifting method for a patient?

Thai doctors determine the best collagen lifting method through detailed facial mapping and clinical assessments of skin laxity. Specialists evaluate tissue thickness and structural loss to select between deep ultrasound lifting or surface tightening. This personalized approach targets specific anatomical layers to achieve natural results for each patient.

  • Tissue depth analysis: Doctors evaluate the SMAS layer for structural lifting using ultrasound imaging techniques.
  • Method selection: Surgeons choose based on whether patients need deep lifting or surface texture refinement.
  • Vector mapping: Professionals identify areas of volume loss to determine precise energy pulse placement.
  • Lifestyle assessment: Clinical teams match treatment intensity with the patient's available recovery time and goals.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows Thai specialists often hold international degrees from institutions like Imperial College London or Cardiff University. This global training allows doctors like Dr. Pimpa Tantanasrigul or Dr. Napat Jirattitikarntavorn to combine Western aesthetic standards with specialized techniques for Asian facial structures. Patients can access professional consultations starting from $45 to discuss these tailored lifting strategies.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that doctors often share extensive photo galleries to help visualize potential lifting results. Many emphasize that a personalized consultation is vital because doctors might adjust the plan after seeing skin elasticity in person. Travelers mention that clear communication about subtle concerns helps avoid generic treatment plans.

Which cities in Thailand have the most specialized aesthetic doctors?

Bangkok is the primary hub for specialized aesthetic doctors in Thailand by a significant margin. The capital hosts over 2,000 clinics and leading specialists. Other major regional centers for procedures like collagen lifting include Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Pattaya. These cities offer access to board-certified experts.

  • Bangkok: Home to 2,000+ clinics and centers for complex anti-aging and regenerative medicine.
  • Chiang Mai: Notable for skin-lifting treatments and specialists trained at Chiang Mai University.
  • Phuket: A key destination for international patients combining aesthetic procedures with resort-style recovery.
  • Pattaya: Popular for dermatology and elective cosmetic surgeries near the capital hub.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows that Bangkok attracts specialists with extensive international training. Many practitioners held fellowships at Imperial College London or the University of Nottingham. Doctors like Dr. Pimpa Tantanasrigul at Wansiri Hospital hold American Board certification in regenerative medicine. This global background is a distinct advantage for patients seeking advanced skin rejuvenation.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that Bangkok feels like the center of the aesthetic world due to the sheer number of experts. Those visiting Chiang Mai often mention the relaxed atmosphere during their recovery period. Many are surprised by how many doctors studied in the UK or USA.

What is the level of medicine in Thailand?

Healthcare is the key development sector of the Thai government. The Thai authorities are convinced that care for the citizens' health should be an absolute priority of state policy and spend about 25 billion baht for healthcare annually.

As a result, 36,673 medical facilities provide excellent medical care in the country. 64 centers in the Kingdom have certificate of JCI (Joint Commission International), the international improver of healthcare quality and safety across the globe. The index of certificates obtained is the largest. To compare, Israel has 20 JCI-accredited facilities, and Germany — only 10 clinics of this type.

What hotel service is provided here?

In the Kingdom of Thailand, hotels of different price ranges and service levels are presented. The level of Thai hotels is comparable to hotels in Tunisia, Morocco or Egypt. Most tourists choose 4 and 5 star hotels with all-inclusive meals. Such hotels have everything for a comfortable stay: varied food, a large well-groomed territory, animation for children and adults. Some hotels have their own water park, which guests can use for free. Budget travelers can afford to book an economical 3-star hotel with half board or no meals at all.

When is the best time to travel to Thailand?

The main advantage of Thai resorts is the long beach season. On the east coast and west coast the climate features are different, so take it into account when planning the trip. The best time to travel is during the cool and dry season between November and early April. A large influx of tourists is in March-May, when the air temperature is +30°C.

Do I need a visa?

For now, the Kingdom of Thailand requires different visa regimens for diverse states. Some foreigners can stay in the country 60 days without visa control, some of them — only 14 days.

How long you can stay in Thailand and what countries can cross the border easy read here.
