Avoid sun exposure during travel, and plan for 10–21 days before returning to desk work, or until new skin has fully formed. Resume exercise after 2–4 weeks once your skin has healed and stopped oozing, and avoid sweating, sun, and swimming until cleared. Redness fades and the final result develops over 3–6 months as collagen remodels.

  1. Days 1–7

    Expect raw, weeping, swollen skin, sometimes with burning or stinging. Follow your wound-care protocol, keep skin moist, avoid sun and makeup, and attend a dressing change and healing check within 3–7 days.

  2. Days 7–14

    As new skin forms and crusts shed, the area looks pink. Avoid picking and use strict sun protection. With your surgeon’s approval, you can usually fly home 10–14 days after a wound check confirms new skin has formed and crusting and oozing have settled. Avoid sun during travel.

My strongest feeling right now is one of being disappointed and scammed. The total costs nearly doubled, jumping from the $2000 USD Bookimed total to $5000 once I was at the clinic. The fractional CO2 laser treatment I received on my face and neck also wasn't what I originally requested; the doctor suggested changing it only after I had already arrived, which should have been communicated much earlier. While the clinic staff themselves were fine and have stayed in touch, the experience with the surgeon and the finances was poor. Make sure the treatment promised on Bookimed is the same one you're getting at the clinic. I would avoid this dermatologist and Wansiri.
The customer service at the clinic was great and the staff was very kind.
Patient Complaint Regarding Treatment Plan and Communication at Wansiri I am documenting my concerns regarding the communication, treatment planning, and services I received at Wansiri. Before my appointment, I specifically requested the following treatments: * Ablative CO2 laser treatment for the full face and décolletage * Ultherapy for the full face The estimated total cost discussed was approximately USD 2,000. The doctor agreed to this proposed treatment plan, and I confirmed that I wished to proceed based on that agreement. However, on the day of the scheduled treatment, the doctor informed me that she did not want to perform any CO2 laser treatment on my face. This was a significant change from the treatment plan that had previously been discussed and agreed upon. Instead, the doctor and coordinator recommended a different package consisting of: * Thermage treatment around the eyes * Ultherapy for the full face * Microneedling The revised package cost approximately USD 5,000, which was more than double the original estimate. My primary concerns were not adequately addressed. In particular: * No CO2 laser treatment was performed on my face. * No treatment was provided for my décolletage. * The crepey skin around my eyes, which was one of my main concerns, was not adequately addressed. * The treatment plan was substantially changed on the day of the procedure, after I had already traveled to and committed to receiving treatment at the clinic. * The reasons for changing the original treatment plan were not clearly explained before the appointment. * I was presented with considerably more expensive alternatives without adequate time to consider the change or seek another medical opinion. I relied on the doctor’s prior agreement when deciding to proceed with treatment at Wansiri. Had I been informed in advance that the doctor would not perform CO2 laser treatment on my face or décolletage, I could have reconsidered the appointment, consulted another provider, or made a more informed decision. As a result, I felt pressured into accepting a treatment package that was significantly more expensive than the original estimate and that did not adequately address the skin concerns for which I sought treatment. I left feeling that the communication had been misleading and that I had not received the treatment plan I had originally agreed to. I believe communication between the doctor, coordinator, and patient should be improved. Any changes to an agreed treatment plan, particularly changes involving substantially different procedures and costs, should be clearly communicated before the patient arrives for treatment. I am requesting a written explanation of: 1. Why the originally agreed CO2 laser treatment was declined on the day of treatment. 2. Why I was not informed of this change before the appointment. 3. Why no treatment was provided for my décolletage. 4. How the recommended treatments were intended to address the crepey skin around my eyes. 5. Why the final cost increased from approximately USD 2,000 to approximately USD 5,000. 6. What resolution or compensation the clinic proposes regarding the difference between the agreed treatment plan and the services ultimately provided.

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. From the beginning, there was a significant lack of clear communication from my Bookimed coordinator. I believe there was a failure to adequately confirm the agreed arrangements with the clinic, which seems to have directly contributed to the services and procedures I paid for not being fulfilled. I was also extremely disappointed that the doctor did not properly listen to my specific requests for my full face treatment; a significant language barrier made communication even more difficult. I proceeded based on the procedures in my Bookimed confirmation, but this did not happen. I am extremely disappointed. I feel misled about the services I booked, and this has resulted in significant additional expenses for me. While there were no extra charges from the clinic itself, I feel unfairly out of pocket after travelling so far for an agreement that was not honoured.
From the beginning of my booking through Bookimed, there has been a significant lack of clear and consistent communication from my assigned coordinator. I believe there was a failure to adequately communicate and confirm the agreed arrangements with both the hospital and, ultimately, the clinic. This lack of proper coordination appears to have directly contributed to the services and procedures that were agreed upon not being fulfilled. I believe this represents a serious failure in the coordination and handling of my booking through Bookimed, and I feel it is important that this responsibility is properly acknowledged.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!
