How Much Does Exosome therapy Cost in Thailand?

Exosome therapy in Thailand typically costs from $2,000 / ฿68,000 to $4,000 / ฿136,000 depending on the treatment area and particle concentration. Prices are influenced by whether the procedure targets skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, or systemic recovery via intravenous infusion. In the US, similar procedures cost around $8,000 / ฿272,000 on average. Thailand offers savings of around 63%, often including doctor consultations and medical transfers in the total price.

  • Facial rejuvenation: Typically ranges from 20% to 50% less than systemic IV treatments for localized anti-aging.
  • Intravenous (IV) therapy: Higher costs apply for high-concentration infusions ranging from 50 billion to 250 billion particles.
  • Clinic location: Major medical hubs include Bangkok and Phuket, where premium facilities offer advanced regenerative protocols.
  • Source material: Ethically sourced umbilical cord MSC-derived exosomes generally command a higher price than other variants.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a specialized regenerative center provides significant value. Panacee Hospital Rama 2 offers stroke recovery packages for approximately $6,400. This includes GMP-certified cell therapy and airport transfers. For aesthetic needs, clinics like Asia Cosmetic Hospital hold JCI accreditation. They maintain a 0% post-surgery complication rate. This ensures hospital-grade safety for elective wellness treatments. Patients often find the best value in Bangkok's multi-specialty hubs.

If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B
Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B. Care Medical Center for your medical needs.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!
The attending doctors are both very professional.
Medical staff lacks the professional etiquettes

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily. I would not recommend this clinic

I'm pleased I went there
Well it's been about a month and I'm still recovering but I'm pleased I went there.
The people were nice
What I didn't like wasn't to do with the place or people. I went through quite a painful procedure getting rid of rather a lot of moles and I almost wished I hadn't when I was in pain. It's all changed now that I'm healing.

FAQ about Exosome therapy in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What qualifications do exosome therapy doctors in Thailand have?

Exosome therapy doctors in Thailand hold advanced medical degrees and specialized certifications in regenerative medicine. These experts often possess American Board certifications and international fellowships. They must be licensed by the Medical Council of Thailand to perform such complex cellular treatments.

  • Board certifications: Leading doctors hold American Board of Regenerative Medicine or ABAARM credentials.
  • Specialized diplomas: Experts often have diplomas in preventive medicine or clinical sexology.
  • International fellowships: Many surgeons completed advanced aesthetic science training in Korea, Italy, or Singapore.
  • Academic research: Top practitioners lead research units at the largest private hospital groups.

Bookimed Expert Insight: A notable pattern among top Thai regenerative specialists is their multi-disciplinary academic background. For example, Dr. Nutt Chawalitkul and Dr. Natthaphon Suwan combine traditional medicine with genomic and nutritional wellness certifications. This dual focus ensures that exosome treatments are integrated into a broader longevity and preventive health strategy.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize the importance of verifying that exosomes are sourced from certified laboratories. They note that the most professional experiences happen at clinics where doctors clearly explain their biotech training. Many felt more comfortable choosing specialists who actively participate in international medical congresses like IMCAS.

Where do Thai exosome doctors source their exosomes?

Thai doctors source exosomes from specialized biotech laboratories focused on mesenchymal stem cell cultivation. Most preparations derive from human umbilical cord tissue or adipose fat cells. These certified facilities use advanced purification to ensure the exosomes are safe for clinical use.

  • Biological origins: Materials typically come from umbilical cord Wharton's Jelly or patient fat tissue.
  • University partnerships: Leading experts collaborate with institutions like Chulalongkorn University for research-integrated care.
  • Lab certifications: Doctors prioritize sourcing from facilities with ISO or JCI-accredited processing standards.
  • International imports: Some specialists utilize pharmaceutical-grade preparations imported from South Korea or the USA.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thai regenerative specialists often hold international board certifications that influence their sourcing choices. For example, Dr. Chollawat Thongthaisin is certified by the American Board of Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Gorpong Koowattanataworn holds a Practical Stem Cell Therapy Certification. These credentials suggest they use products that meet specific international laboratory standards rather than just local preparations.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that clinics can sometimes be vague about specific manufacturing documentation or batch certificates. Many people suggest asking for sterility data before starting treatment. Some patients observe that lower costs compared to the US might indicate different regional sourcing methods.

Is a consultation mandatory with an exosome doctor in Thailand before treatment?

A consultation is mandatory at reputable clinics in Thailand before receiving exosome therapy. This step ensures clinical safety and allows doctors to verify your health history. Specialist physicians confirm if you are a candidate for regenerative protocols. They also determine precise dosing and delivery methods for optimal results.

  • Safety screening: Doctors review medical history to identify any contraindications before the procedure begins.
  • Personalized protocols: Specialists like Dr. Chollawat Thongthaisin design treatments based on American Board standards.
  • Credential verification: Consultations allow patients to confirm the doctor holds Thai Medical Council certification.
  • Virtual options: Some clinics offer online sessions starting from $40 for international medical planning.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows a high concentration of regenerative expertise in Bangkok, where doctors often hold dual certifications. For example, Dr. Nutt Chawalitkul is board-certified in both anti-aging and nutritional wellness. Choosing a doctor with these specific credentials at JCI-accredited facilities like Asia Cosmetic Hospital provides a higher level of oversight for complex cellular therapies.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that skipping a formal talk can lead to unexpected add-ons or mismatched results. One patient mentioned that having a brief 10-minute chat before treatment wasn't enough to feel prepared. Many people suggest insisting on a video call first to feel confident in the clinic's legitimacy.

Regenerative medicine specialists in Thailand typicially prescribe exosome concentrations between 20 billion and 50 billion particles per session. Leading doctors often use high-purity mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes. These concentrations focus on achieving skin rejuvenation or joint relief while minimizing local irritation.

  • Treatment standards: Doctors often recommend 10-30 billion particles per ml for facial rejuvenation.
  • Joint procedures: Prescriptions for joint pain typically reach the 50 billion particle range.
  • Specialist credentials: Top practitioners like Dr. Gorpong Koowattanataworn hold American Board certifications.
  • Research collaboration: Specialists like Dr. Bee Thamonwan collaborate with local universities on wellness research.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many patients assume more is better, practitioners at Harmony Life Center and Vega Clinic emphasize particle quality over raw volume. Data shows Thai specialists often favor precise, moderate doses of 20-50 billion particles to avoid the fatigue and inflammation sometimes associated with higher concentrations used in other regions.

Patient Consensus: Patients note it's important to ask for the exact billion-particle count before starting therapy. Some were surprised by mild scalp irritation when concentrations were not disclosed upfront. Many found that 10-30 billion particles per ml provided excellent long-term results without the heavy side effects of more intensive doses.

How soon can I fly after an exosome session with a Thai doctor?

Thai doctors generally recommend waiting 24 to 48 hours after exosome therapy before flying. While the procedure has no strict downtime, cabin pressure changes can worsen mild swelling. Waiting allows the treatment to stabilize and ensures you remain near your specialist if any concerns arise.

  • Short-haul flights: Wait at least 24 hours to let treated areas settle properly.
  • Long-haul travel: Consider waiting 48+ hours to manage potential cabin air dehydration.
  • Skin stabilization: Give injections time to stabilize before exposure to low aircraft pressure.
  • Professional access: Staying local for two days helps if you need follow-up care.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand attracts specialists with prestigious international credentials, such as Dr. Chollawat Thongthaisin, who is American Board certified in Regenerative Medicine. Patients can find highly qualified experts like Dr. Gorpong Koowattanataworn, who holds multiple master degrees in anti-aging. These doctors often practice in JCI-accredited facilities, where they combine cellular therapy with specialized wellness research.

Patient Consensus: Patients note that flying shortly after sessions is manageable but advise using heavy moisturizer to combat dry cabin air. Many suggest waiting at least one full day to avoid increased puffiness from altitude and recommend staying well hydrated during the flight.

As a result, 36,673 medical facilities provide excellent medical care in the country. 64 centers in the Kingdom have certificate of JCI (Joint Commission International), the international improver of healthcare quality and safety across the globe. In the Kingdom of Thailand, hotels of different price ranges and service levels are presented. The level of Thai hotels is comparable to hotels in Tunisia, Morocco or Egypt. Most tourists choose 4 and 5 star hotels with all-inclusive meals. Such hotels have everything for a comfortable stay: varied food, a large well-groomed territory, animation for children and adults. Some hotels have their own water park, which guests can use for free. Budget travelers can afford to book an economical 3-star hotel with half board or no meals at all.

When is the best time to travel to Thailand?

The main advantage of Thai resorts is the long beach season. On the east coast and west coast the climate features are different, so take it into account when planning the trip. The best time to travel is during the cool and dry season between November and early April. A large influx of tourists is in March-May, when the air temperature is +30°C.
