The team followed through on every detail discussed
Sitting in the consultation room while the surgeon explained the precise use of 50-100 million umbilical cord stem cells gave me a clear sense of the technical path ahead. Fifteen days after the treatment, I am already noticing some improvement in my overall physical state. The application was smooth, and I experienced no injection site reactions or inflammatory flare-ups afterward. Recovery is just beginning. Every interaction with the clinic staff was handled with professional efficiency, ensuring that the logistical side of the medical travel was as controlled as the procedure itself. It is important to stay patient during this early window while the body starts to respond to the cells. The team followed through on every detail discussed.

If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B
Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B. Care Medical Center for your medical needs.

My strongest feeling right now is one of being disappointed and scammed. The total costs nearly doubled, jumping from the $2000 USD Bookimed total to $5000 once I was at the clinic. The fractional CO2 laser treatment I received on my face and neck also wasn't what I originally requested; the doctor suggested changing it only after I had already arrived, which should have been communicated much earlier. While the clinic staff themselves were fine and have stayed in touch, the experience with the surgeon and the finances was poor. Make sure the treatment promised on Bookimed is the same one you're getting at the clinic. I would avoid this dermatologist and Wansiri.
The customer service at the clinic was great and the staff was very kind.
Patient Complaint Regarding Treatment Plan and Communication at Wansiri I am documenting my concerns regarding the communication, treatment planning, and services I received at Wansiri. Before my appointment, I specifically requested the following treatments: * Ablative CO2 laser treatment for the full face and décolletage * Ultherapy for the full face The estimated total cost discussed was approximately USD 2,000. The doctor agreed to this proposed treatment plan, and I confirmed that I wished to proceed based on that agreement. However, on the day of the scheduled treatment, the doctor informed me that she did not want to perform any CO2 laser treatment on my face. This was a significant change from the treatment plan that had previously been discussed and agreed upon. Instead, the doctor and coordinator recommended a different package consisting of: * Thermage treatment around the eyes * Ultherapy for the full face * Microneedling The revised package cost approximately USD 5,000, which was more than double the original estimate. My primary concerns were not adequately addressed. In particular: * No CO2 laser treatment was performed on my face. * No treatment was provided for my décolletage. * The crepey skin around my eyes, which was one of my main concerns, was not adequately addressed. * The treatment plan was substantially changed on the day of the procedure, after I had already traveled to and committed to receiving treatment at the clinic. * The reasons for changing the original treatment plan were not clearly explained before the appointment. * I was presented with considerably more expensive alternatives without adequate time to consider the change or seek another medical opinion. I relied on the doctor’s prior agreement when deciding to proceed with treatment at Wansiri. Had I been informed in advance that the doctor would not perform CO2 laser treatment on my face or décolletage, I could have reconsidered the appointment, consulted another provider, or made a more informed decision. As a result, I felt pressured into accepting a treatment package that was significantly more expensive than the original estimate and that did not adequately address the skin concerns for which I sought treatment. I left feeling that the communication had been misleading and that I had not received the treatment plan I had originally agreed to. I believe communication between the doctor, coordinator, and patient should be improved. Any changes to an agreed treatment plan, particularly changes involving substantially different procedures and costs, should be clearly communicated before the patient arrives for treatment. I am requesting a written explanation of: 1. Why the originally agreed CO2 laser treatment was declined on the day of treatment. 2. Why I was not informed of this change before the appointment. 3. Why no treatment was provided for my décolletage. 4. How the recommended treatments were intended to address the crepey skin around my eyes. 5. Why the final cost increased from approximately USD 2,000 to approximately USD 5,000. 6. What resolution or compensation the clinic proposes regarding the difference between the agreed treatment plan and the services ultimately provided.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!

FAQ about Renuvion J Plasma in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What is the typical recovery timeline and activity restrictions after Renuvion J-Plasma?

Most patients return to light activities within 2 to 5 days after Renuvion J-Plasma. While initial tightening is immediate, full results typically emerge over 3 to 9 months. Surgeons in Thailand often require 24/7 compression garment wear for 2 to 6 weeks to support skin adhesion.

  • Initial recovery: Expect peak swelling and bruising between day 2 and day 4 post-procedure.
  • Work transition: Patients with sedentary desk jobs typically return to work within 3 to 7 days.
  • Exercise limits: Avoid strenuous workouts and heavy lifting for 4 to 6 weeks to prevent strain.
  • Heat restrictions: Skip saunas, steam rooms, and hot environments for 4 weeks to manage swelling.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics in Bangkok and Phuket often combine Renuvion with liposuction to maximize body contouring. This combination increases the recovery period compared to standalone treatments. While Asia Cosmetic Hospital maintains a 0% complication rate, international patients should stay in Thailand for 10–14 days. This allows surgeons to monitor swelling, which often peaks later in hot, humid climates.

Patient Consensus: Visible swelling is frequently underestimated and can temporarily hide your final aesthetic results. Many patients suggest clearing your social calendar for the first week to manage significant initial puffiness comfortably.

When will visible outcomes appear and how long does improvement continue?

Visible outcomes for Renuvion J Plasma in Thailand typically appear within 7 to 14 days as initial swelling subsides. While early skin contraction is noticeable, collagen remodeling continues for 6 to 18 months. Most patients see 80% of their final results by the third month.

  • Early visibility: Initial skin tightening starts around day 10 once major bruising fades.
  • Peak transformation: Significant contour improvements typically peak between 3 and 6 months post-procedure.
  • Long-term refinement: Enhanced collagen production drives subtle skin thickening for up to 18 months.
  • Recovery impact: Temporary numbness may last 6 months, affecting how you perceive early results.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data from leading Thai centers like Asia Cosmetic Hospital shows that surgeons often combine Renuvion with liposuction. While this enhances contours, it may extend the inflammatory phase. Patients should wait until month 6 for a definitive assessment of skin laxity and shape.

Patient Consensus: Many patients suggest avoiding early mirrors during the first 2 weeks due to swelling. They report that the skin feels significantly firmer and smoother by the 4-month mark.

Are the results permanent, and what factors influence longevity?

Renuvion J Plasma results are considered long-lasting because the procedure causes immediate collagen contraction and triggers new collagen production. While it does not stop natural aging, patients typically see results lasting 3 to 7 years. Longevity depends on skin elasticity, age, and post-operative lifestyle choices.

  • Age factor: Patients under 40 often maintain 70-90% of their skin tightening for several years.
  • Weight stability: Maintaining a stable weight prevents skin from stretching and reversing the surgical tightening.
  • Sun protection: Religious SPF use protects new collagen, as UV damage can decrease results significantly.
  • Lifestyle habits: Avoiding smoking ensures better blood flow, which is essential for long-term tissue health.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data from clinics like Asia Cosmetic Hospital shows that combining Renuvion with liposuction creates more durable results than standalone skin tightening. While standalone Renuvion is effective, the internal scarring from liposuction provides a firmer foundation for the J Plasma to adhere. This combination is especially popular in Bangkok where surgeons perform over 2,500 procedures annually with high success rates.

Patient Consensus: Many patients report feeling tighter immediately, but emphasize that the real results settle in after 6 months. Consistency with compression garments and weight management are frequently cited as the keys to making the results last for years.

Which accredited clinics in Thailand perform Renuvion J-Plasma, and what credentials do they hold?

Accredited Thai facilities performing Renuvion J-Plasma include Asia Cosmetic Hospital and Rattinan Clinic. These centers maintain Joint Commission International (JCI) or American Accreditation Commission International (AACI) standards. Surgeons typically hold International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) credentials and specialize in advanced radiofrequency-helium plasma technology.

  • Asia Cosmetic Hospital: JCI-accredited Bangkok facility using ISAPS-certified surgeons and professional anesthesiology teams.
  • Rattinan Clinic: AACI-certified center specializes in body contouring with 25 years of experience.
  • SLC Hospital: Clinically certified hospital recognized as a leading Asia-Pacific aesthetic and plastic surgery center.
  • Demarest Clinic: AABB-certified Phuket facility focusing on regenerative medicine and integrated plasma treatments.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many clinics offer J-Plasma, check for Asia Cosmetic Hospital’s 0% post-surgery complication rate. This clinic serves 2,500 patients annually with mandatory cardiologist oversight. That level of monitoring is rare for minimally invasive procedures but ensures higher safety during deep tissue heating.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize demanding Thai FDA device authentication to avoid imitation technology. They also recommend planning for 1 month of swelling despite the official 2-week downtime estimate.

What other cosmetic procedures are commonly combined with Renuvion J-Plasma, and why?

Renuvion J-Plasma is frequently combined with liposuction, facelifts, and tummy tucks to simultaneously remove fat and tighten skin. This combination addresses multiple tissue layers in one session. It uses cold plasma energy to contract subdermal tissues, preventing the sagging often seen after traditional fat removal.

  • Liposuction pairing: Contracts skin immediately after fat removal for smoother, sculpted body contours.
  • Facial rejuvenation: Enhances traditional neck lifts by tightening skin layers and defining the jawline.
  • Abdominal contouring: Complements tummy tucks by firming areas beyond the primary surgical excision site.
  • Strategic efficiency: Uses existing small incisions from liposuction, minimizing additional scarring and recovery time.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand is a global hub for these combinations, with clinics like Asia Cosmetic Hospital reporting 0% complication rates. Many Thai surgeons now prefer J-Plasma over traditional lifts for the arms and thighs. This approach preserves blood supply better than aggressive skin undermining. It often achieves professional results without the extensive scarring of a brachioplasty.

Patient Consensus: Patients value the `shrink-wrap` effect that prevents a deflated appearance after fat removal. They frequently highlight the convenience of undergoing one anesthesia session for a comprehensive transformation.
