hopefully we will succeed very much believe in Dr Semre 🙏
To be honest, we found the clinic by searching for the top 10 hospitals in Turkey and chose Memorial, the call centre was very adequate, we were met at the airport by a special clinic transfer car, which was very convenient for us! Then we had a consultation with doctor Semre Kahraman, she explained us the next steps of our operation (IVF) in a very clear language. We are planning to have the operation at the end of November hopefully we will succeed very much believe in Dr Semre 🙏, I forgot to mention the consultation was free which surprised me very pleasantly 😳 as last year I was in Medipole there I paid 220$ for the consultation.
I liked Dr Semre the best.

She was on call 24/7, always answered in detail, politely and with great patience
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my coordinating doctor Yaroslava from the platform. She was on call 24/7, always answered in detail, politely and with great patience. Yaroslava even enquired about my impressions after my consultation with the doctor, which was very pleasant. Her responsiveness and support helped me to make an important decision. As for the treatment and the doctor, it is too early to give a final assessment, as we are just starting to work. But I can already say that I chose Memorial Ataşehir Clinic and I was satisfied with the staff, the doctor, the interpreter and the clinic itself. I will definitely write a full review of the results later.
A reverent approach of the doctor, no rush, polite, smiling. And my doctor coordinator Yaroslava.

Yes, I liked it overall. But I didn’t like how translators work - there are not enough Russian-speaking translators, you have to wait for them all the time, once I waited 1.5 hours, once without an interpreter I mixed up the medication, I didn’t take the medicine correctly, because I didn’t understand correctly, even if the translator comes to you, will be in a hurry, because they have a lot of work. The clinic in the Bahcelievler district is large, modern, all tests, medicines can be bought on the spot, the staff is polite. I can’t say the result of infertility treatment yet, since I have only gone halfway through IVF, but I hope for a successful result.

Was offered an appointment and was told it would be online and an interpreter would be provided but there was no interpreter. I was told to pay a deposit but then after the appointment which was suppose to last an hour but lasted 20 minutes (and was started late) was concluded the hospital refused to refund me the deposit when I decided not to proceed! Luckily my credit card was able to get the money back for me.
Nothing
Lack of professionalism, lack of empathy and understanding. Changing the times of my appointment and not having an interpreter available despite promising to have an interpreter.

"The doctor was very good, answered all the questions, explained everything
The doctor was very good, answered all the questions, explained everything. The only thing I didn’t like was the wait. At the reception no one spoke English or Russian, I had to wait for an interpreter from another part of the clinic. We were hungry and nervous while waiting, but overall the reception and consultation went well.

I am very happy and satisfied with Bookimed service
My experience in the hospital was not the best one. Please don't get me wrong, the hospital is well maintained and organized. The only problem I had was the visa for my husband. They have assigned interpreter for me in Bulgarian (I have not requested, because my husband doesn't speak my language, so we preferred English communication), however the lady took more than two weeks to replay my email and send the invitation letter. The visa was not ready on time. My treatment started and I had to cancel because my husband was not able to come. We have lost a lot of money and of course the delay of our dream. No one even offer an apology to me.. I am very happy and satisfied with Bookimed service. Everyone I talk to is very polite, attentive and try to fulfil all the request and solve the problem. Thank you so much. I will be happy to work with you again.

FAQ about AneVivo IVF in Turkey

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

How long do I need to stay in Turkey for the procedure?

A typical stay for AneVivo IVF in Turkey lasts 5 to 10 days. This timeline covers initial consultations, ovarian stimulation monitoring, and the oocyte retrieval procedure. Because this technique uses an in-vivo culture device for natural embryo development, patients often return home before the final embryo transfer stage.

  • Oocyte retrieval: Performed between days 3 and 5 after your arrival in Turkey.
  • In-body culture: The AneVivo device stays in the uterus for 24 to 48 hours.
  • Embryo freezing: Clinics typically freeze embryos by day 6 for later transfer.
  • Travel readiness: Most patients are medically cleared to fly 24 hours after retrieval.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While standard IVF often requires 3 weeks abroad, AneVivo’s freeze-all strategy at top-rated centers like Memorial Şişli Hospital significantly shortens your trip. Data shows this approach is popular because it decouples retrieval from transfer. You can complete the intensive medical phase in under 10 days and schedule the transfer back home or during a shorter second visit.

Patient Consensus: Patients value the quicker turnaround and reduced infection risk. Many suggest budgeting an extra 2 days for potential scheduling delays to ensure a stress-free departure.

What is AneVivo and how is it different from traditional IVF?

AneVivo is a natural fertilization technology where conception and early embryo development occur inside the maternal environment rather than a laboratory incubator. This method uses a porous, gas-permeable silicone capsule to house sperm and eggs directly within the uterus, allowing continuous biochemical crosstalk between mother and embryo.

  • Fertilization site: Occurs inside the maternal womb (in vivo) instead of a laboratory Petri dish.
  • Growth environment: Embryos develop while bathed in natural maternal fluids rather than artificial culture media.
  • Capsule technology: A 1cm porous device allows nutrient exchange between the embryo and the mother.
  • Treatment duration: The device typically remains in the uterus for 24 hours to 5 days.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While traditional IVF costs $3,000 in Turkey, AneVivo starts at $3,500 due to specialized equipment fees. Data from Memorial Atasehir Hospital shows a 65% IVF success rate, but patients often choose AneVivo specifically after multiple failed laboratory cycles to minimize artificial stress. Combining JCI-accredited infrastructure with this Swiss technology provides a high-tier alternative for complex infertility cases.

Patient Consensus: Many describe this technique as a mini-vacation in the womb that feels more like natural conception. Those with previous laboratory failures often view it as a game-changer that reduces the psychological disconnect of early development.

What are the success rates for AneVivo in Turkey?

Top Turkish fertility centers reported IVF success rates of approximately 60–65 percent for patients under age 35 when using advanced culture methods. While specific nationwide data for AneVivo is not separate from standard IVF metrics, these high-performing clinics integrate the technology into their primary specialized programs.

  • Clinic benchmarks: Memorial Ataşehir Hospital maintains a 65 percent success rate for younger patient groups.
  • Clinical volume: Memorial Şişli Hospital performs over 3,000 yearly procedures and pioneered microinjection in Turkey.
  • Standard baselines: National averages for frozen transfers reach 40.1 percent, serving as a performance floor.
  • Surgical expertise: Specialists like Dr. Safak Olgan have performed over 900 successful fertility-related procedures.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many clinics offer AneVivo, the true differentiator in Turkey is the laboratory accreditation level. Our data shows that top-tier clinics with JCI and ISO certifications, like Memorial Şişli Hospital, often maintain higher success rates because they combine AneVivo with rigorous environmental controls that most smaller boutique clinics cannot replicate.

Patient Consensus: Many patients note that while AneVivo provides a natural fertilization environment, choosing a clinic based on the embryologist's experience remains more critical than the technology itself. Most suggest confirming live-birth rates for your specific age group before committing to the additional technology costs.

Which clinics in Turkey offer AneVivo IVF?

Major JCI-accredited facilities including Memorial Sisli, Memorial Atasehir, and Hisar Hospital Intercontinental offer AneVivo IVF in Turkey. This natural incubator technology is primarily available in Istanbul and Antalya, providing an intrauterine fertilization environment that reduces laboratory exposure for developing embryos.

  • Memorial Sisli Hospital: Istanbul-based pioneer in microinjection technology featuring high success rates and JCI-accredited laboratories.
  • Memorial Antalya Hospital: Led by Prof. Dr. Safak Olgan, specializing in intrauterine incubator systems for patients.
  • Hisar Hospital Intercontinental: Provides comprehensive AneVivo IVF packages alongside ICSI and personalized diagnostic support services.
  • Emsey Hospital: Features a specialized IVF unit where Dr. Nesrin Bastug focuses on natural systems.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many search for the latest tech, the 65% IVF success rate at Memorial Atasehir shows that established protocols remain powerful. Patients often choose AneVivo for the emotional benefit of `natural` development, but verify if your coordinator suggests combining it with PGT-A for better outcomes.

Patient Consensus: Patients value the natural feeling of culturing embryos within the body, though some note it can be a pricier add-on. Success often follows multiple standard IVF failures when using this reduced-lab-exposure approach.

What are the legal requirements for IVF in Turkey?

Legal IVF in Turkey requires couples to be in a heterosexual marriage with a valid certificate. Clinics exclusively use the couple’s own genetic material, as egg, sperm, and embryo donations are strictly prohibited. Surrogacy and non-medical sex selection remain illegal under Ministry of Health regulations.

  • Marital Status: Couples must provide an official marriage certificate before starting any treatment.
  • Genetic Origin: Procedures must use the couple's own eggs and sperm; donations are forbidden.
  • Embryo Limits: Women under 35 may receive 1 embryo; 2 are permitted after 35.
  • Medical Reports: Patients must present documented medical proof of infertility or genetic necessity.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While Turkish law is strict regarding marital status, the 65% success rate at centers like Memorial Ataşehir Hospital demonstrates high clinical efficiency. Patients should note that embryo storage requires annual written consent for up to 10 years. Choosing JCI-accredited facilities ensures these legal protocols align with the highest international safety standards.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize the importance of preparing apostilled medical documents and HIV tests in advance. The practical reality involves navigating strict documentation checks, but many find the high success rates for older patients reassuring.

How long does a complete AneVivo cycle take in Turkey?

A complete AneVivo cycle in Turkey typically requires 15 to 20 days for the active treatment phase. The entire process from initial consultation to the final pregnancy test lasts 4 to 6 weeks. International patients usually stay in Istanbul for 18 to 21 days to cover stimulation and transfer.

  • Ovarian stimulation: Hormone injections last 10 to 12 days to stimulate egg production.
  • In-vivo maturation: Fertilization occurs inside the mother's body for 24 to 48 hours.
  • Monitoring visits: Patients attend 4 to 6 visits total, fewer than traditional IVF.
  • Pregnancy confirmation: A beta hCG blood test is performed 10 days after embryo transfer.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While traditional IVF requires 8 to 10 monitoring visits, AneVivo centers like Memorial Şişli Hospital streamline the process into just 4 to 6 appointments. This efficiency allows international patients to reduce their stay by nearly 30% compared to standard protocols. Surgeons like Dr. Engin Turkgeldi at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital often suggest a 1-week stay buffer to manage potential stimulation delays safely.

Patient Consensus: Patients value the natural maturation process and find the 18 to 25 day door-to-door timeline manageable. Many recommend booking flexible return flights to accommodate the 24-48 hour in-vivo device phase comfortably.

Which cities in Turkey are best for AneVivo IVF?

Istanbul and Antalya are the premier destinations for AneVivo IVF in Turkey, hosting specialized centers equipped with the necessary intrauterine incubator technology. Istanbul offers the highest density of JCI-accredited clinics, while Antalya provides a recovery-focused environment with established protocols and experienced reproductive specialists.

  • Clinic density: Istanbul houses top-tier facilities like Memorial Şişli and Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.
  • Success rates: Memorial Ataşehir reports 65% success for patients under 35 using advanced IVF.
  • Specialized expertise: Prof. Dr. Şafak Olgan in Antalya has performed over 900 procedures.
  • International standards: Facilities in both cities maintain JCI accreditation and ISO-certified laboratory environments.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While Istanbul is the high-volume leader, Antalya clinics like Memorial Antalya often provide more personalized monitoring timelines for complex cases. Data shows that while AneVivo costs range from $3,500 to $5,500, choosing Istanbul clinics like Memorial Şişli grants access to a larger pool of 180+ specialists often required for co-treatments.

Patient Consensus: Patients favor Istanbul for its proven track record and English-speaking staff, often noting successful first-cycle results. High-density tech hubs in Istanbul are specifically recommended for patients over 40 requiring intensive cycle monitoring.
