But overall I'm really happy with my experience with the ID Clinic team ☺️
Ice was one of the nurses who collected me from the airport. She was so kind for waiting nearly two hours for me due to a delay I had. She helped me so much after my surgery too. Another nurse Marge was wonderful. She helped with translation and my aftercare, she was so gentle when helping take out my stitches. I thank all of the nursing staff, they were all wonderful in their own way and treated me very well. I wish I could have spoken with the doctor more, he always seemed in a rush, I know he is a very busy man but if he could slow down just a bit it would help the patient care factor improve. But overall I'm really happy with my experience with the ID Clinic team ☺️ I only took two pictures of the inside of my overnight room, the clinic was very clean and comfortable and beautiful 🙏
The staff and nurses were exceptional!
Not enough conversation with the doctor, he seemed in a hurry

Thank you ID Clinic, I highly recommend
I am happy with the expertise provided by the doctor. He understood and have my needs by explaining his technique in tummy tuck and liposuction and compared other techniques he has used before. Shout out to Ice and Marj who went above and beyond to put me at ease with my procedures. The hotel inclusive of the package was a great touch in being closer to the doctor for pain relief and further enquiries. The doctor structured procedures in different days to ensure that the body can heal between procedures. I will be happy with the result once scarring and swelling have subsided. Thank you ID Clinic, I highly recommend.
That doctor has been in practice for long and knew the best technique to use.
The lack in providing a clear structure of what to expect post healing of which a checklist can be provided to the patient abd provide assurance and further understanding.
About Bookimed service
Bookimed response time was efficient and they communicated to the clinics which they had referred me to about my concerns and pricing. They provided me with 5% off and $100US from procedures from referals that I gave. A middle person is required to advocate for me during tough healing situations.

The overall experience was one of the most pleasant I've ever had
The team is very caring, and loving. They took care of me as they would of a family member, not just a patient at the clinic. The overall experience was one of the most pleasant I've ever had.

FAQ about Non-Invasive Liposuction in Thailand

What are the risks of undergoing non-invasive liposuction in a foreign country?

Undergoing non-invasive liposuction abroad carries risks such as communication barriers, differences in medical standards, and potential difficulties in accessing follow-up care post-procedure. To mitigate these risks, choose accredited facilities with experienced professionals and ensure clear communication regarding all aspects of your treatment plan.

Will my health insurance cover any part of the procedure or related expenses?

Health insurance coverage for non-invasive liposuction varies widely depending on your policy and provider. Cosmetic procedures are often not covered unless deemed medically necessary. Contact your insurance company directly to inquire about potential coverage or reimbursement options.

What kind of follow-up care is required after the procedure, and can it be done remotely?

Follow-up care after non-invasive liposuction typically includes monitoring for side effects and assessing treatment outcomes. Many clinics offer remote consultations via video calls to accommodate international patients' needs. It's important to adhere to any prescribed post-treatment care instructions provided by your doctor.

How does non-invasive liposuction compare to traditional liposuction in terms of effectiveness?

Non-invasive liposuction offers a less aggressive approach with no downtime compared to traditional liposuction, which involves surgery and longer recovery periods. While both methods effectively reduce fat deposits, non-invasive techniques may require multiple sessions for optimal results. Traditional liposuction may provide more immediate and dramatic contouring effects.

Is it safe to travel to Thailand for medical procedures during the current global health situation?

Traveling for medical procedures during a global health crisis requires careful consideration of current travel advisories and health guidelines. Ensure that the clinic adheres to strict hygiene protocols and has measures in place for patient safety. Consult with your healthcare provider before making travel arrangements.

What should I do if I experience complications after returning home?

If complications arise after returning home, contact your surgeon immediately for advice and guidance. Many clinics offer virtual follow-up consultations to assist international patients. Additionally, seek medical attention locally if necessary and keep all documentation related to your procedure for reference.

How do I verify the qualifications and experience of the surgeon?

Verify a surgeon's qualifications by checking their certifications with recognized boards such as the Thai Medical Council or international bodies like ISAPS. Request information on their training background and experience in performing non-invasive liposuction procedures. Patient testimonials and before-and-after photos can also provide insight into their expertise.

Are there any hidden costs associated with the procedure in Thailand?

Reputable clinics in Thailand usually provide a comprehensive breakdown of costs upfront, including consultations, preoperative tests, and post-op care. However, it's essential to inquire about any additional expenses such as medications or follow-up visits. Always request a detailed quote before committing to the procedure.

What is the recovery time for non-invasive liposuction, and can I travel immediately after?

The recovery time for non-invasive liposuction is generally short, with most patients resuming normal activities within a few days. However, it's recommended to wait at least 24-48 hours before traveling to allow any immediate side effects to subside. Follow your doctor's advice on post-procedure care to ensure optimal recovery.

Will there be a language barrier when communicating with the medical staff?

Many clinics in Thailand employ English-speaking staff to cater to international patients, minimizing language barriers. It's advisable to confirm language proficiency during your initial consultation. Some clinics also offer translation services to ensure clear communication throughout your treatment.

How can I ensure the clinic in Thailand is reputable and safe?

To ensure a clinic's reputation and safety in Thailand, verify if it is accredited by organizations such as ISAPS or the Joint Commission International (JCI). Research the clinic's reviews and check the qualifications of its medical staff. Reputable clinics often provide detailed information about their procedures and safety protocols.

What are the potential side effects of non-invasive liposuction?

Non-invasive liposuction typically has minimal side effects, including temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the treatment site.
