The staff at the hospital were all attentive to my needs and offered excellent service. Even though sometimes there was a communication barrier, they all provided me with the best treatment possible tending to all my needs. They were empathetic and sympathetic. I would recommend this hospital for any procedure you might need. The comfort level and cleanliness of the rooms was great. The fact that a family member could stay with you while you recover was indeed a nice touch as you need a familiar face during this time. Overall, my experience was superb and I would recommend hospital and doctor with his support staff. Service provided was 1000/10.

Many thanks to Dr Bora Basharan and Alisher Durdiev! Diagnosis: carcinoma on the tongue. Alisher was very helpful with the choice and full support during the treatment. He gave us confidence in choosing Dr Bora Basharan by telling us about his professionalism and humanity. The most important thing for Alisher was the patient's health and to organise the diagnosis/surgery so that the patient gets the best results. We are very happy about this. We could not decide on the treatment (we were waiting for answers from South Korea) and Alisher did not give up to provide us with doctor's answers, answer our many questions and help with organisation. His ability to speak excellent Russian helped a lot in communication. The first meeting organised by Alisher went well. The doctor explained everything about the surgery and gave us peace of mind due to his experience as a highly specialised ENT surgeon in oncology. I felt like we had VIP treatment
My care was very good from start to finish. As soon as I arrived at the hospital, I was greeted by my interpreter and team. They were very friendly, put me at ease and explained what would happen and when. I had checks done and blood taken etc and met the consultant. He was absolutely lovely and again explained the whole procedure. I also met with the Anaesthetist. My procedure was completed and the care was fantastic from all the staff involved. The room and hospital were great. I felt like we had VIP treatment. The Hotel was also nice and everything runs like clockwork. Thanks to all the team but, especially to Ishmeal, Senna and Doctor Ozturk.
Always being told what was happening. Interpretor always on hand.

All You Need to Know about High intensity focused ultrasound ablation (HIFU)

FUS ablation or HIFU – This is a non-invasive organ-preserving procedure that allows you to influence the tissues of benign and malignant tumors of various localization.

It is based on the ability of ultrasonic waves to pass through tissues without damaging them. An increase in temperature, which leads to necrosis of tumor cells, is achieved at a specially set point using a lens. This point is called "spot".

The essence of the method : ultrasonic radiation is focused on a specific area inside the body. In a few seconds, the fabric is heated to a temperature of 55-85°C and begins to break down. Next, the ultrasound is transferred to the adjacent area of the tumor. Such manipulations are repeated until the surface of the entire node is processed.

The required number of FUS-ablation sessions is determined by the doctor after a thorough examination.

Where can I get FUS ablation?

Currently, FUS-ablation is successfully used to treat tumors of various origins. The presence of modern equipment and qualified specialists in foreign medical centers ensures the accuracy of ultrasound exposure and the high efficiency of this method. In the CIS countries, the use of the FUS-ablation method is currently not widespread.
