Everything was excellent from start to finish
Everything was excellent from start to finish. We definitely recommend them to anyone looking for treatment in Istanbul. I'm still in early recovery from my HoLEP procedure, but I am feeling much better than I expected to at this stage. It’s a real relief. For my condition, which involved a medium-sized prostate, I was pleased that the catheter was only needed for two days post-op. What also gave us peace of mind was that the final bill was exactly as quoted, with no additional expenses to worry about. The entire process was very straightforward and well-managed.
Everything was excellent from start to finish. We definitely recommend them to anyone looking for treatment in Istanbul

There was nothing that could have been better
My main concern was the complexity of my case, which required addressing both Peyronie's disease and implanting a prosthesis. The surgeon was excellent. It was a very difficult job, but the two-hour surgery was successful because we followed his recommendations. I'm in early recovery, and while it is highly painful, that was to be expected. The support system was also solid. Communication with my coordinator and interpreter, Ibrohim, was excellent. He was very friendly and reassuring throughout the process, which made a significant difference. There was nothing that could have been better.
The surgeon was excellent, it was a very difficult job : payronies and prosthetic. 2 hour surgery. We followed his recommendations and it was very successful. Highly painful recovery but that is to be expected. Excellent communications with the coordinator/interpreter Thank you Ibrohim, very friendly and reassuring

The aspect that concerned me the most was the recovery process itself, but the doctor immediately alleviated my fears. During the consultation, he honestly discussed the healing timelines and clearly explained all the stages of the procedure and its risks, which helped me feel more confident. After the surgery, the clinic did not leave me on my own. They actively called to check on my well-being and provided very clear care instructions. No surprises. It was pleasant to see that there were no additional costs beyond what I had paid to the clinic. It was the right choice.

If it is not possible to assist a Russian-speaking client, simply say that you cannot, rather than assuring them that everything will be exceptional and a translator will accompany them. This way, the client won't travel from afar, wasting money and time. I was assured of full support, but there was no translator on site. No organization whatsoever. As a result, I was left to face the language barrier alone at the most critical moment. Now I feel much worse than I anticipated.
If there is no possibility to assist a Russian-speaking client, you should simply state that we cannot provide the service, instead of assuring them that everything will be top-notch and that a translator will be present! This way, the client will not travel from afar and waste money and time on the journey and preparation.

What worried me most was how the recovery would actually go. But my surgeon was honest about the timeframe right from the start, and also explained all the risks and details of the laser procedure itself very clearly. It was easy to discuss any concerns with him. Now, during the healing phase, I feel better than I expected. It was really appreciated that the clinic staff stayed in touch and asked how I was getting on after the operation. There were no additional costs, which is also a big plus. Everything went smoothly.

The support from the clinic since I started treatment has been brilliant
What worried me most was what haemodialysis would actually be like and how I would feel. But my doctor was honest about what to expect and explained the whole process very clearly, including the diet and fluid restrictions. As it turns out, I feel better than I expected. I’ve been prescribed three sessions a week, and the support from the clinic since I started treatment has been brilliant. They’re always available, they’ve checked in on how I’m feeling and given me clear instructions. Importantly, there were no additional costs. My advice to future patients would be to prioritise their health above all else.

My biggest worry was the complexity of the procedure itself, especially since it turned out I needed a Vasoepididymostomy. However, the surgeon was very clear and reassuring from the first consultation. That put me at ease. The clinic staff were consistently supportive, and the entire process felt organized and professional. Recovery is a journey, and while there's still some healing to do, I feel like I was in very capable hands. Everything went smoothly. The appointment i was supposed to have in another clinic was canceled because the doctor canceled all appointments on the surgery day, so the coordinator from bookimed (Natalia) reached out to Lokman Hekim hospital and they agreed to take me in the same day for blood tests and surgery next day, I am really thankful to dr. If you are considering stem cell therapy, here is my initial, first-hand experience. The care I received from the surgeon and the medical team was excellent, as was the organisation at the clinic. Everything went smoothly. It is very important to manage expectations at the outset; it is far too early to judge the final results, and I haven’t noticed any change yet in spontaneous erections. However, the most positive aspect so far is that the injection site feels completely normal and there is no discomfort, which makes the recovery period easy. Given the high level of professionalism and support they have provided, I am confident that I have chosen the right place.

The result is already better than expected
What worried me most was how the final length would turn out, but the result is already better than expected. The team was faultless. My incision for the 3-piece Rigicon implant is healing cleanly, though the most difficult part of recovery has been just trying to sit comfortably. The clinic facility itself is why I gave a lower rating; it’s functional but feels dated. This did not detract from the quality of the medical attention, however. Based on the care from the staff and the surgeon, I would direct others here.
The whole experience overall was great. Dr Bugra Cetin made himself available throughout my time in Istanbul, when he wasn't in surgery, that made my trip easy. The staff at Bookimed addressed all my concerns day and night, with taxi, clinic and still with my recovery while back home. I got with my local Urologist for them to have a look at my surgical area and they were happy with the results so far and said everything looks perfect! Thanks Dr. Cetin and Team!

This is one of the best hospitals I’ve ever visit! It combines high quality of medicine services with perfect organisation, communication and translations service. I want to send my sincere thanks to Professor Ahmed Tunc Özdemir fra department of urology. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and always ready to help! I warmly recommend professor to all the patients who need a really skilled doctor who is always willing to do his best for helping! He has in addition, very kind and generous personality! My sincere thanks goes further to coordinator Alisher and translator Gulnaz. Alisher is a perfect example of the right person on the right place. He possess executive management skills and it is a pleasure to communicate with him. He is expert to organise, coordinate and give a quick feedback. He is always smiling and polite. Alisher is always trying to solve all the problems on a best way and is a really good listener and communicator. Last but not least I want to express my sincere gratitude to translator Gulnaz! Gulnaz is extremely talented, professional, kind and supportive person ! She is the person you will be happy to meet when you are far from home and need help to understand a different language. She is like a little sunshine on a rainy day, always kind and smiling and always ready to make you feel better! The perfect combination of highly skilled people makes really this hospital special.
