No, I didn't like it. Prices are inflated. Doctors sway to the passage of various unnecessary studies. They themselves cannot determine for sure whether this procedure is necessary. The translation of the research done has not yet been received. We don't even know what it says. We will never go there again and will not recommend.

Hello, we are from Kazakhstan. Came here for diagnosis and treatment of my son. We really liked the clinic. Neurologist Barış Metin explained everything to us in detail. We learned a lot about my son's illness. My son has hydrocephalus and even after the tests we found out that he has epilepsy, the VP-shunt works at an accelerated rate, so my son did not develop. Now we are receiving treatment. We hope it helps insha Allah. I also liked the staff, especially the translators, I forgot the names, but one of them even knows the Kazakh language. It was super convenient. Thank you very much Bookimed, you are the best, you helped us a lot, especially thanks to Oksana and Anna, they always answered on time and put up with us for more than a month. Praise be to Allah everything went well.

At the first consultation, the doctor promised us a 50% improvement in our son’s health, but on the contrary, his condition worsened. When we returned home, he began to get very sick; Perhaps the medications didn’t work and we went to the clinic. Unfortunately, they did not answer us. They did 7 sessions of ECT (Electroconvulsive therapy), which is very dangerous for epileptics, after which convulsive attacks began, which occurred several times a day. I was desperate and didn't know how to help. We had to hospitalize our son at a local clinic. Doctors requested an extract from the NP Istanbul clinic. I received the translation of the extract with difficulty after 20 days. I wrote to the translator about everything and he seemed to report to the doctors of the clinic. I waited a month, I thought that the doctors would get in touch and correct their mistakes and help in some way, but on the contrary, they again offer their services for a fee. I'm in great shock! I do not recommend this clinic to anyone!

The only thing I was lucky about was the interpreter Natalia, who is really empathetic and responsible. A good anaesthesiologist. Then there is one disappointment. Someone may be lucky with the doctors in this clinic, but we expected different results.

I did not like the doctor and in general consultation 30 minutes of time...half of the time was spent on translation...the doctor did not look at the sent documents in advance...in fact 15 minutes consultation without conclusion for 220$.

Op. Dr. Şükrü ARSLAN – Specialist in General Surgery

Op. Dr. Şükrü Arslan is a highly experienced General Surgeon with extensive clinical and academic expertise in general and advanced surgical procedures. Born in Sivas, Türkiye, in 1978, he completed his primary and secondary education in Sivas before graduating from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2005.

Following his graduation, he worked as a General Practitioner in Şanlıurfa and subsequently completed his residency training in General Surgery at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine between 2006 and 2011, earning his specialization in General Surgery.

After completing his residency, Dr. Arslan served as a General Surgeon in public hospitals before joining Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine, where he worked as an Assistant Professor of General Surgery from 2013 to 2017. During the same period, he was also actively involved in the Atatürk University Organ Transplantation Center, contributing to both clinical practice and academic activities.

Between 2017 and 2026, Dr. Arslan worked at several leading private hospitals throughout the Marmara Region, gaining broad experience in the surgical management of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, and abdominal diseases, as well as minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery.

Since May 2026, he has been serving as a General Surgeon at NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, where he continues to provide comprehensive surgical care with a patient-focused approach.
