Closed technic rhinoplasty is performed through the nostrils which means there is no incision or stitches on the outer surface of the nose. Closed technic or so-called Push-down technic is a kind of preservation rhinoplasty This technic based on reshaping nose’s original cartilage from the bottom part of the dorsum. The reshaped nose bridge ( dorsum ) sits directly on the facial bone. It makes the healing fast and easier. Since the skin is not lifted completely with this technic, healing is much faster according to the open with structural rhinoplasty. with the closed preservational rhinoplasty technic, the duration of healing is 3-4 days in the country.
