I remember my conversation with the surgeon clearly. What stood out most was that he was honest about the risks and complications, which set a transparent tone for the entire process of getting my VP shunt. So far, I'm feeling about as expected in my recovery. The clinic staff has been supportive and they stayed in touch with me after the surgery. I can also confirm there were no additional expenses on top of what was originally quoted. Everything was handled well. My one piece of advice for a future patient would be to bring plenty of reading material for the downtime.

My biggest concern before the trip was the impersonal nature of a large clinic. This was not the case at all. I underwent a craniotomy for a meningioma, and the entire approach felt very focused on my well-being. To put it simply, "The Surgeon was very warm including the staff," which made a real difference. The entire process was efficient and well-structured; the schedule was tight but normal, leaving no room for uncertainty. I am still in early recovery, but I feel the medical care I received was competent and the right decision for my health.

Having made an initial enquiry on line, I was impressed by the follow up and treatment proposals and costs I did some research and determined that I needed to get the very best medical attention It was a great help to have somebody with me during the day of the tests, sorting my papers and dealing with translation. Absolutely invaluable Everything was explained to me in detail My only comments are that it would have been good to have been informed about the number of nights stay in the hospital I expected an overnight stay after the procedure In fact for good reasons it was a total of three nights
