I had a wonderful experience
Dr. Malikgazi was very dedicated and friendly; I would always want to go to him for any future plastic surgery. The hospital is beautiful with very helpful staff, and I thank the interpreters Nurcan and Berk who helped me the entire time. The food was my only issue. The portions were very small, and it was difficult to get more until I insisted. It is still too early to see the final result of my rhinoplasty, which involved a specific technique to change certain parts of my nose. I did have an extra expense for an echocardiogram because of a previous heart surgery. You don't have to bring anything; the hospital and Hotel Uranus are luxury.
The plastic surgeon was very dedicated and friendly. I would always want to go to him if I ever want anything in plastic surgery in the future. The consultation with the doctor was decisive for me
The consultation with the doctor was decisive for me. He not only answered questions but also thoroughly explained the risks of the combined surgery, honestly assessed my initial data for choosing implant sizes, and justified why a lift with a periareolar incision would be best in my case. I am currently in the recovery stage, and my condition is exactly as I expected after all the explanations. Importantly, there were no additional expenses beyond the amount paid. Everything went according to plan.

The quality of the hospital service is second to none, with well-organised, highly competent services that are always available to patients.
Whether it's the doctors, nurses or reception staff, many other hospitals should take inspiration from the Turkish hospital model.
The hospitals are like luxury hotels, you feel good, you are looked after and followed throughout your stay.
Finally, the money I spent there was really justified.
Thank you to everyone who looked after me during my 14-day stay.
Of course I recommend Istanbul Memorial Hospital.

I’m so very glad I had the best doctor and best care
My arrival at Istanbul airport was smooth and efficient. I was met and transported to my hotel. My hotel was lovely.
Transportation from hotel to hospitals on time and efficient.
I met my advocate at international patient area, she had everything under control, all tests lined up and doctor appointments were fabulous. My advocate translated to my language at every appointment.
I’m very happy with the service and I felt very “looked after”.
My outcome is excellent and I’m so very glad I had the best doctor and best care.

The surgeon was excellent
What surprised me most about my basalioma treatment wasn't the procedure itself, but the detailed skin examination I received. The surgeon was excellent. He made sure all removal options were discussed clearly, which was reassuring since I already had my diagnosis before arriving. Right now, the treated area is healing very well. While the medical care was superb and the clinic facilities are great, the administrative staff seemed a bit disorganized, which was the only downside. Despite that, based on the surgeon’s work, it’s a place I would suggest to others.
My Bookimed coordinator was highly skilled, had the passion and patience for her work and that translated to the numerous array of options provided to me to choose from based on my budget during the entire process.She interacted with me 24/7 just for us to have solution within my schedule. 1. Interpreter only come when the patient calls for his services and that is only during the day. If the interpreter can also support beyond the interactions with the specialist.
2. Airport and Internal movement are left to the patient to handle which can sometimes be a major challenge for some category of patients and given the language barrier.
3. Hospital discharges are very strict even if you the patient feels he/she need additional day(s) to be fit for a return to the hotel to continue the recovery.
