Wojciech Zelichowski

Dr. Wojciech Żelichowski is a urology specialist with extensive clinical experience both in Poland and abroad. He has worked at renowned medical centers in Norway, including Sykehuset Innlandet in Hamar, Akershus University Hospital in Oslo, and the University Hospital in Tromsø. His practice focuses on modern surgical urology, the diagnosis of diseases of the genitourinary system, and minimally invasive treatment methods. A special focus in his work is on no-scalpel vasectomy, a modern contraceptive procedure for men performed with minimal surgical intervention. He performs vasectomy using the fascial interposition technique, considered one of the methods that increases the procedure's effectiveness. This technique involves additionally separating the ends of the vas deferens with a layer of tissue, reducing the risk of their reconnection. He trained in vasectomy under the supervision of Dr. Douglas Stein in Florida, USA – one of the most recognized specialists in this field worldwide. In addition to vasectomy, the doctor also specializes in endourology, or the minimally invasive treatment of urinary tract diseases. He performs procedures such as RIRS laser stone removal, PCNL percutaneous removal of renal calculi, HoLEP holmium laser enucleation of the prostate, and TURT transurethral resection of bladder tumors.
