The doctor is the Head of the Hematology Department at Hadassah Medical Center and a professor specializing in molecular diagnostics of hematological diseases, malignant blood diseases, bone marrow transplant, gene therapy, and immunology. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, the doctor completed postgraduate studies at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. In 2017, the doctor became the first woman to serve as Dean of Hadassah School of Medicine.
