The doctor is a highly trained specialist in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) medicine, having completed residency training at the Başkent University ENT Clinic. With a strong academic foundation from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, the doctor is currently advancing expertise through a Doctoral Program in Clinical Anatomy.

The doctor's clinical practice focuses on pediatric ENT surgeries, endoscopic sinus surgery, and functional and aesthetic nasal procedures. Additionally, the doctor provides specialized care in minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, combining anatomical precision with surgical expertise to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Prof. Dr. Davut Aktaş is an ENT and Head & Neck surgeon. He completed ENT residency at GATA (1982–1985). He worked at Gümüşsuyu Military Hospital (1985–1989). He became Assistant Professor at GATA in 1989 and Associate Professor in 1994. He later served at İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center. In 2001, he became Professor and Head of Otorhinolaryngology at Fatih University. He has also practiced at TDV 29 Mayıs, Koru, Medicana, and Umut Hospitals.

Focus: medical and surgical care for nasal, sinus, and ear diseases. Septoplasty and turbinate (concha) surgery. Endoscopic sinus surgery. Ear tube placement, hearing problems, tympanic membrane repair, and cholesteatoma. Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. Laryngeal polyps, nodules, and cysts. Neck lipomas, benign tumors, cysts, and fistulas.
