Dr Theodoros Piperos, MD, is a General Surgeon at IASYS Clinic in Vyronas, Athens. He has over 10 years of clinical experience. He completed his specialty training in General Surgery in 2014 at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He performs the full range of general surgical procedures. His expertise includes laparoscopic surgery, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and breast, thyroid, and colorectal surgery. He also provides surgical management for obstetric and gynecological cases. He is a lecturer in the postgraduate Applied Neuroanatomy programme at the University of Athens. Michael Nießen is a radiation therapy specialist at the clinic’s MVZ Gamma Knife Center Krefeld, working there since 2024 and joining the team on 01.01.2024. He completed radiation therapy specialist training at University Hospital Essen and in an MVZ for radiation therapy in Leverkusen after neurology work at Uniklinikum Bonn. In March 2024, he attended the Leksell Gamma Knife Clinical Introduction course in Prague at Nemocnice Na Homolce Hospital.
