Dr. Giorgia Mangili is the Head of the Medical Gynecological Oncology Group at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute Hospital since 2002. She has a degree in general medicine and specialties in gynecology and obstetrics, oncology, and is an Associate and Professor in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Jacopo Peccatori is the Head of Bone Marrow Transplant Department in San Raffaele Scientific Institute and one of the top lymphoma doctors. He has been in this position since 2006 and has written over 70 studies on allogeneic bone marrow transplantation, acute leukemia, and multiple myeloma. He has a degree in general medicine from the University of Milan and specialties in internal medicine and haematology and is a member of The European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation and The Italian Group for Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cell Therapies.

She performs interventions for the establishment of distal arteriovenous fistulas in collaboration with the vascular surgeon and autonomously performs procedures of tunneled CVC placements for the execution of the dialysis treatment.

Thanks to a Cariplo Foundation research grant, Dr. Della Torre returned to Italy in 2018 and established his lab within the Division of Genetic and Cell Biology of San Raffale Hospital (Milan, Italy).

Dr. Della Torre is now Assistant Professor of Rheumatology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and Senior Consultant at the Unit of Immunology, Rheumatology, Allergy, and Rare Disease (UnIRAR) of San Raffaele Hospital.

Dr. Della Torre authored more than 100 scientific publications on international peer-reviewed journals and achieved prestigious awards such as the Collegio Ghislieri and the Cariplo Foundation awards for young researchers, the TRIDEO award, the MyFirst AIRC research grant, and the Career Research Grant Award from the FOREUM Foundation.

With his seminal works Dr. Della Torre contributed to the characterization of a novel autoimmune disease known as “IgG4-related disease” and is currently considered “World Expert of IgG4-related disease” by the prestigious Expertscape platform.

Dr. Della Torre is the Disease Coordinator of the IgG4-related disease European working group of the European Reference Network (ERN) on Rare Connective Tissue and Musculoskeletal Diseases (ReCONNET).

Up to September 2022, his scientific publications received more than 6000 citations with an H-index of 35.

Dr. Della Torre presented his studies in different national and international immune-rheumatologic congresses, organized a number of scientific meetings, and co-authored 10 medical books. Professor Pietro Mortini MD is a highly experienced Italian neurosurgeon who specializes in neuro- and radiosurgeries with a focus on minimally invasive spine and brain operations. He is a Visiting Professor at the George Washington University, has a degree in Otorhinolaryngology and Neurosurgery from the University of Milan and University of Verona, and has patented a method of manufacturing a device for regenerating biological tissues. He also provides research in microsurgical therapy of pituitary adenomas and radiosurgery for uveal melanoma and is a member of the Italian Society of the Cranial Base.

Doctor Luca Aldrighetti is a highly experienced hepatobiliary surgeon and the Head of the Hepatobiliary and General Surgery Division at the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan.
