He is an honorary lecturer in the Department of ENT at UKZN and has a special interest in Otology and Neurotology, as well as Lateral Skull Base and Head and Neck surgery. He has expertise in various ENT procedures such as stapedotomy, endoscopic sinus surgery, and cochlear implantation.

Dr. Alrawi is a highly qualified and experienced Board-certified Surgical Oncologist with expertise in upper gastrointestinal, head and neck, minimal invasive, breast, colorectal, and heated chemoperfusion oncology. He has held posts in tertiary referral cancer centers and is currently the Director of Oncology Services at VPS Hospital system in UAE & MENA. He is also involved in oncology research.

Dr. Jafaru Abu is a Consultant Gynecological Oncology Surgeon with nearly three decades of experience. He is well known for his exceptional ability to perform complex key-hole procedures and was one of the first to perform Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery. He also established a training course for other consultants and has trained and mentored other consultant colleagues and Senior Trainees.
