Prof. Dr. med. univ. Wilfried Lang is an Austrian neurologist. Since 2002, he has led the Department of Neurology, Neurological Rehabilitation, and Acute Geriatrics at the Hospital of the Brothers of Mercy in Vienna. His clinical and research work focuses on stroke prevention, acute treatment, and rehabilitation.

Prof. Dr. Yasef worked abroad in the United States from 1990 - 1991, focusing on dementia and behavioral neurology.

In 1994, he became an Associate Professor and continued working at Istanbul University until 1999. Between 1999 - 2002, he worked at Florence Nightingale Hospital, and then at Kozyatağı Acıbadem Hospital from 2004 to 2013.

Since 1998 he has been Director of the Epilepsy Unit at the Ruber International Hospital in Madrid, a pioneering centre for the diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment of epilepsy in children and adults.

More than 150 neurologists and neurophysiologists from Spain and Latin America have been trained here, and several of its students have successfully opened epilepsy centres in other public and private hospitals, both in Spain and abroad.

The program he directs has become a pioneer in Spain in the field of genetic diagnosis of complex epilepsies and advanced treatments such as drug repositioning, interstitial laser treatment, deep electrodes and gamma radiosurgery, which are used in patients with refractory epilepsy.

He has been the Principal Investigator of phase II and III clinical trials, including numerous clinical trials and non-pharmacological treatments (epilepsy surgery, electrical stimulation, ketogenic diet and gamma knife). His research is funded by European Union funds and the Public Innovation Agency of the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Spanish Government. Professor Shixin Liu, MD, PhD, is the Discipline Leader of the Oncology Center. He is the former President of Jilin Provincial Cancer Hospital and former Director of the Cancer Prevention and Treatment Research Institute. He is a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor. He has received the State Council Special Government Allowance, the 4th National Famous Doctor (Outstanding Contribution) award, and the Model of Medical Ethics honor.

He specializes in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors. His focus is precision radiotherapy for thoracic and abdominal cancers. He is skilled in IMRT, VMAT, and SBRT for lung, esophageal, breast, and rectal cancers.

His leadership roles include Vice Chair of CMA Radiation Oncology, CACA Radiotherapy, and CACA Particle Therapy. He serves on the CSCO Standing Committee and as Vice Chair of the CSCO Radiation Oncology Expert Committee. He is Vice Chair of CPAM Radiation Oncology and a Standing Committee member of CSMEA. He chairs the Jilin Medical Association Radiation Oncology branch. He is on the editorial boards of the Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology and the Practical Journal of Cancer.
